The app GUI needs to be designed hand-in-hand with gigging musicians like yourself, Aaron! The issues you mentioned would also bother me if I was on a gig. The developers should look at what the Everse 8 and Yamaha Stagepas 200 apps are doing and how much more comfortable the experience is

100%! JBL, please, we need to enter the EXACT value of parameters. And please allow the + and - buttons for nudge up/down the smallest possible steps.

I agree. The sliders should be more operational and the +/- should be for exact adjustments.

I like the old App. No need to update.Also use 2 610s and a very functional App. Can tune to the room or specific instrument.Use the Compact flat EQ in living room to demo pedals.

Thanks Aaron ! Great video :) I have two of them. For me this is an outstanding improvement to both the effects and eq sections along with overall useability due to the new app. Almost like having a new speaker.

How do you link two EON ONE Compact 1 speakers to play Bluetooth from my phone. I can only stream from one.

I do not support or use these speakers anymore. I will take another look if their app improves in the future.

JBL should hire Aaron ASAP! He is a real pro. JBL has been working on this App for over a year! EV got it right long ago. Wondering how these column array Apps compare to the Bose T4 mixer?

Thanks I’m just calling it as I see it. I haven’t used the T4 but I’m sure it is very functional and reliable. I do like the idea of an app but it needs to be done right.

Is the "pass thru" port an after mix so that I can run it to DI and bring into my Android Phone? Or is it dry? Man I'm glad I watched your video I thought I could bring my acoustic into line 3 ( Hi.Z) and have TWO mic inputs with Phantom power, according to this app it's just like one..... Thanks for all your time! No one has a box where I can simply input an acoustic electric and have 2 phantom capable mic inputs with streaming out ( or USB C out ) ug....

Hi Aaron, I'm looking at purchasing the EON One Compact (or perhaps the EON One MK2) at the moment and wondered if there's finer control of the sliders if after touching the control, you slide up before left and right - a bit like the way KZbin and iTunes works?

I think so but I still don’t like the app and wouldn’t recommend these until it’s improved.

Thanks. A lot of it depends on what you are putting into it and what you want to get out of it. Also the room plays a big part. I don’t have any tutorials yet but may be able to do something in the future.

I just bought this speaker. Thanks for this video-had I not seen it, I may have just blithely updated my firmware. Question: if the (old) app says there’s an update available (perhaps due to taking delivery of older stock), is there the same risk in updating (via the older app)? I do think I would prefer to use the old app vs. the new one. TIA

Tap tempo. That is the bpm.

My delay seems not to work at all, the reverb works, I haven't tried chorus because I don't need it. Is there any bug that you know of that would cause delay not to work? Seems strange, no other obvious glitches. I suppose I could call JBL if I had to, have to call at night from Thailand.

That’s impossible. It depends on your setup and the room you are playing in.

So what I got here is that there isn't any improve of the speaker at all, only the control app is new. Well then, no. I'd rather stay with the old app, which can't update from 5.1.5 to 5.1.8 by the way. It just looses connection while uploading...

Alert! Do NOT update to from "JBL Compact Connect" to "JBL Pro Connect". With the very bad "JBL Pro Connect" "app" you are not able to enter precise values at all. You just can't even use the EQ!
