Noooooo…… Wayyyyyyyyy…… I. I can’t believe that. Dude. Matt & Ryan. Y’all’s made my evening. I cannot believe you really liked that off the cuff name; “Dirt Road Shed” Oh, and because I NEVER ignore a chance to bust your chops, Matt, are you going to try to convince us that the interior door handles are for safety reasons? Because in an emergency situation, you can locate the handle easier and get out of the vehicle quicker? I mean, if the 392 is for safety reasons, then being able to quickly locate the horn has got to be a safety-conscious upgrade?

I like them all but the steering wheel trim, it’s a little too much to my liking. What is amazing is how easy it is to do some of these mods. I would have thought a new door handle would be a major job.

I did the color matched steering wheel trim on my bikini sahara and it's one of my favorite upgrades so far. The stock chrome trim is terrible. I would say my least favorite was actually the exterior door handles. If I was going to swap mine I'd actually lean towards painted black to keep the subtle splashes of black but look more expensive than just plastic finish handles.

Love your Jeep! Not a fan of so many colored items on the car. They did a great paint match though. I do like the painted cowl. I can’t believe you’re going to switch out your painted hardtop for a black one! You are getting rid of a huge upgrade. It looks so much better painted. I had one with a black top and I’ve ordered a new one with the painted top from Lindsey. Can’t wait! By the way, the handles aren’t chrome. They are silver. Chrome is shiny and reflects like a mirror.

The weight inside the steering wheel attached with the column bolt is a tuned mass damper. It is designed to reduce engine idle vibration that could be felt by the driver when touching the steering wheel.

I like color matched EVERYTHING!! I’ve been scouting the perfect Jeep since before Covid, and I finally found her about a month back. I thought I was gonna have to color match myself, and find an older model grill to switch out (I just can’t get behind the ‘24 grill), but I got extremely lucky and found a ‘23 Sahara High Altitude, with 14 miles on’er. As you know, the High Altitude comes color matched EVERYTHING, including the bumpers! I think color matched looks so clean and your bikini baby is GORGEOUS! My Jeep is in the Hydro blue, and her name is Krystal Blue Persuasion. I’m going for the color matched interior next, but I need to find a good shop, cause no way am I ripping off door panels and steering wheels myself. I love to watch you guys do it tho ❤. Maybe I’ll send pics and you can feature her soon. 😉

The drill is likely a better choice, you can change the clutch on it so it is less likely to over torque or strip the head out. I been thinking of doing the cowl panel on my Gladiator, but in black. I like the contrast on my Punk'n but don't want the color fade issue.

Those door handles inserts look bad ass. Love the black on Bikini. I like the red stitching and seats with that color. Personally if it were me I'd swap the bronze exterior pieces (hooks, hood decal, etc) with red to tie it with the inside.

I was thinking the same thing. Red accented badges, and a red accented Rubicon decal would look amazing. I’m not feeling all of the red upholstery tho. I think black with red stitching would look sick.

Really nice color match mods and great company! I love my color match wiper cowl even though it was a pain. My wipers didn’t want to come off. I really like your steering wheel color match trim! The door handles inside are cool and different. Can’t wait to see what else you are doing.

If you did not have it from the factory then you will need a new door harness and to have the sales code added to your vin

I am probably in the minority but I like the black accents...would have been cool to see the handles in gloss black. That wiper piece is the killer upgrade for sure. Love that. Time to get rid of the red interior! remonds me of the red dash on your yellow jeep :) Well I have to edit cause with that steering wheel insert the other color matched look great.

I did my steering wheel trim, it was a tedious task.. agreed if you're intimidated by the airbag, have a pro remove the steering wheel.. the bikini is sick on the interior! Cant wait to see the rest!

As the saying goes "There's something from everyone" Lol. As one who's had both vehicle for looks and vehicles for use, I like keeping my very built JLUR looking "daily driver / mall crawler during the week because the JL's are just so nice. Any real jeeper knows by looking at the "clues" that I use my JL for off roading even if they haven't taken a little peak at my little channel. That said, the painted interior panels can look good for any vehicle depending on the intended use but the watch out is that it's a painted part so now the normal wear from touching, (women's fingernails, actually and sometimes men's fingernails 🤮) over time will scuff and scratch to the point where then the painted parts highlight the scratches, scuffs, and imperfections in the painted part if you're using the vehicle regularly. I imaging you won't be wheeling that jeep much so you do you buddy. It's custom, it's a 392, and it's yours. The excitement in your face in these new 392 videos is very obvious. Lol. Just like a kid in the candy store.
