This brought back some nice memories of my high school years in central NJ, in the early eighties. My dad and I trout fished all over the central and northern part of the state. Our favorites were the Musconetcong, the Pequest, Stony Brook, and Assunpink Creek. Great times. I sure miss fishing with my dad.

That sounds like the dream! Those rivers are some of my favorites too! Nj has so much good fishing to offer and so many pristine streams to enjoy! Thanks for tuning in!

Hey skye love your trout fishing videos and especially love that you are from Jersey like me. I always see you walking up streams and exploring and wanted to do the same but idk if I am allowed to do so if rivers flow through private land. Do you know if it is legal to walk a stream even if it is surrounded by private land. Thx.

I should give you good tip, when walking into the woods, not looking down for copperheads , bugs before you go out fishing in NJ, take a few dryer sheets with you, but them in your shirt pocket, and wipe 1 sheet down your arms, and around your shirt and neck.. Iam from NJ fishing since I was a kid...

Hello friend, what's the name of the river?
@DoubleBtmBouncer Жыл бұрын
I know EXACTLY where you are in long valley. Good stretch of river there on the south branch however, you didn't go to the BEST spot on that river. You stopped quite a bit before it. It's further down river. I caught my biggest brown and rainbow in that river, the bow was 9.3lbs and the brown was 10.7 lbs. Both are mounted duplicates on my wall

Awesome video man. I moved to NJ a couple of years ago and finally got into the trout game recently. I've caught some nice rainbows in the Ramapo and Musconetcong Rivers. Definitely don't need the exact location, but would be great if you could let me know which river this is. Tight lines my guy!

Hey man what knot do you tie orverall?
@TheSkyeLife3 жыл бұрын
I like the simple fisherman’s knot. I make sure to spit on the line to sinch It down better. Also give the line a little pull cus especially with 6lb sometimes you get a bad knot randomly. Hope this helped 👊
