Born and bred in NJ and live 2 miles from one of these houses. Many in the country aren't aware of how affluent and beautiful the state is. We welcome it being the butt of jokes - we're glad to keep it to ourselves... (except it's so damn expensive to live here)

Subsequent to this video. The first item, "The Stone Mansion" originally offered for $68 million has finally been sold for $27 million.

The terraces house was originally 14.9 million and sold for 6 million... Gloria Crest was originally 39 million but sold later for 6.9 million. I have a feeling the owners all lost their ass on these homes.

I feel the same. It is my favorite mansion. I would never want to live in New Jersey or New York but I would adore to live in the Stone Mansion (in my dreams). It's perfect. High wealth families have problems most people don't contend with. Perhaps security may be an issue there OR it may be too close to NYC. Maybe the staffing arrangements are insufficient. All guesses.
