WOw! Thank you for this video! Even though it took a lot to do this trip I’m sure, I’m very thankful that it was taped!! I have a little boy and we crossed from Illinois to Fontana California, through Colorado in the most scariest road trip ever!!! I was crying while driving. My car is not the newest and it was so scary crossing the Rockies. Cliff after cliff after cliff and mean drivers with trucks on my bumper trying to push me... I had to slow down and let all pass put on my emergency lights and it seemed never ending. Now I have to go back and this angelic video has given me a path u can’t even imagine for my son and I to cross another way and safely. This highway is the most irritating and annoying drive in the entire nation. Many parts are 75 mph. Semi trucks traveling 65 mph have no problem cutting you off while you are traveling at 80 mph. They will camp in the fast lane for 10 plus miles traveling at 10 mph under the speed limit. In 16 hours on this highway, this occurred 42 times! Truck drivers used to be considerate and respectful……not any more! Don’t expect to use your cruise control for more than ten minutes.
