It looks like you had a nice evening for filming Adam, and some good catches! Those two timeless GP40's (even though one had the "Disco Stripes in an incorrect horizontal position! 🤣) the US Army unit AND that N-S Heritage unit! I recognized the Heritage unit color scheme but don't remember the railroad it represents. No biggie, it was a nice surprise! Thanks for posting!

Thank you for watching Wayne and back to one of your fav spots of mine getting those planes trains and automobiles at Rutherford. Yes, lots of good variety on Sunday night between NS and NJT.. Even though the incorrect stripping on the NJT still enjoyed being trackside.. The NS unit 8105, "creamsicle" that paint scheme represents the Interstate Railroad company.

@@LibertyRailfan Interstate Railroad, that's the one! And "creamsicle" is a pretty apt desciption!

Will you be seeing any steam this year?
@LibertyRailfan7 ай бұрын
Please keep questions related to the video only, for all other railroad-related questions I have messaging, email, and social media enabled please use those links to ask any channel-related / railroad question. I will give a hint, health and family-related circumstances prevented me from seeing some steamtrain events. Hopefully, what the future has in store I will be able to see some steam this year stay tuned.. Actually, it's been a few weeks now I haven't been able to get trackside, as I was in the hospital.

Just one freight train run on that line?
@LibertyRailfan4 ай бұрын
@@miguelduenas4184 this line has been owned and operated by NJTransit for 40 years now. No where the amount of freight as it used to be during the Erie RR days. To answer your question; more or less this is the only freight on this part of the line, with a handful of exceptions where some nights there might be another smaller freight run up on this part of the line as well. Further up the line are a few small local freights that do switch out customers, but that is further railroad west along the line.
@miguelduenas41844 ай бұрын
@@LibertyRailfan And the train line that go through Paterson, Clifton, Passaic, Delawanna and Secaucus Junction? The long NS freight trains runs on the CSX line and near the ports?
@LibertyRailfan4 ай бұрын
@@miguelduenas4184 that would be New Jersey Transit’s Main Line through Paterson. Freight does utilize that line but freight can not go through the Kingsland Tunnel in Lyndhurst so the freight trains in Paterson have to railroad west to Hillburn yard in Suffern, NY before they can go east back to Croxton yard in Jersey City.
