Yeah, I mean, you shouldn't think of new Wigglytuff decks as meta threats right now; just as more playable. As it was before, you almost never want to open on Jiggly on your active slot; the difference between now and then, is that the nee Jiggly has the chance of buying you a bit more time, instead of making you lose on the spot 80% of the times (to be conservative)

This is why I run my Wiggly EX with Basic articuno and Misty. Hypno asks "would you like to go to sleep 25% of the time". WigglyEX and Articuno both say "50/50 chance your opponent is having a bad time rn"

Dont waste deck space on pokedex. You can play to your outs without knowing if youre guaranteed to draw them. All pokedex does is let you know if you should concede 1 turn earlier.

@@pocketvices ah yes..... Let's think big brain man. There are 4 situations. 1. If you have dex and no ball. You play dex for minimal information that doesn't change the game. 2. If you have ball and no dex you play ball and nothing changes. 3. If you have both and are in a situation where you have to play ball you're actually in situation 2. 4. If you have both but don't need ball you can play dex first then re randomize those cards. But you haven't changed anything. You are still stuck with unknowns. But wait.... There exists a 5th option. Where the dex was just an impactful card to begin with.

For example if you have an evolution stage as the next card you can start to put energy on the basic instead of an Basic ex on your bench. Or reverse. It is not the best card by any means, but it is not totally useless. And if you have an extra space open in your deck then it could help in some situation. I myself do not use it that much i have to admit.

I have a sleep deck with jiggly, frosmoth, and vileplume. It's hilarious and infuriating my enemies lol. I've killed so many EX monsters because of my opponent doing bad flips hahaha

I used this deck but I added golurk. Build your wiggly EX up front, and while he’s giving your opponent sleep apnea, you build golurk on the bench. Wiggly will go down just as golurk is ready to go. At that point, you use hypno to keep the opponent sleep while lurk stomps them out

Paralysis overrides sleep and vice versa. I think Poison stacks with sleep though. Also Dugtrio's protection is independant of the opponents status

@@solidzackhaving sleep from hypno and paralyze from your active Pokémon will give you the highest chance to prevent them from playing the game. playing jiggly with para makes not much sense, paring hypno with para does make slot of sense tho

Yeah, you're right, you'd have a 1/4 chance for sleep and another 1/2 chance for paralysis, whereas the 1/4 chance for sleep with Hypno wouldn't apply for double sleeping. But there's also a 1/8 chance for your opponent to land 3 tails in a row while asleep, which isn't the case with paralysis. Also I don't know that many paralysis inducing Pokémon in the current card pool. So I'd say you get the best odds with Sleep + Dig from Dugtrio

As someone who almost EXCLUSIVELY played wigglytuff and hypno for a month, i will say that hypno is not the move. it made marginal differences in the game and it is much more worth it to replace hypno with frosmoth and a couple of more trainers. add a kangaskhan and you have a solid deck that wins games that it really shouldn't

I love the idea behind Bruxish and Greninja but isn't Bruxish just a bad card? For it to be at all useful you need to have 2 energy on it AND have a fully evolved Greninja. I tried it out this morning and I just couldn't understand why you wouldn't take a Golduck instead for more pressure with Psyduck's headache...

There is a fighting pokemonw ith that too, its first stage (not basic) requires 3 energy but does 70 dmg and has the Sabrina effect as a rider. So you juggle pokemon onto the bench and just keep hitting their team. But its got low HP of like 90. So maybe Potions or something that can throw heals on your mons.

I feel like because its only two cards (4 I guess if you run the Wigglytuff ex as well, which can work well enough as long as your coin flips work enough to build Jigglypuff up...) you can slot this thing into pretty much any deck and have it help. Hell, I used it in a Machamp ex deck and it worked better than I thought.

Spragels, have you done an Omastar deck yet? 2 x fossil omanyte omastar, 2 x basic and whatever 1 stage evo you want (psyduck, snom, etc.) Non-ex, works on a bit of luck, and gives your opponent a way to fight when you bring out Omastar as your closer (they can switch out and beat it that way)

Forsmoth Ninja does that too and fits with water energy so you could keep sleeping with Frosmoth and keep Ninja on the back just chipping. Fros does 40 dmg I think.

The Wiggly Ex and Hypno energy costs are a little hard to deal with for how little they do. Unless you're getting those sleep flips going your way on to their turn and/or they're getting bricked badly, you're going to be losing.

Ngl I think you are better off with frostmoth rather then with hypno, doesnt require too much energy, guarantees sleeping, I can get you can use hypno off the bench but the fsct it needs 3 energy and only 50 damage doesnt sound worth it, you csn use misty on frostmoth

sleep is a coin flip and is removed with evolutions. hypno's sleep is a double coin flip. just too inconsistent. wiggly ex has a good sleep because it does good damage and is likely already fighting a fully evolved mon

Sleep is such a meh status ngl But guarantee status that's not poison is hard to find. Also, the best combo with this wiggly deck is greninja instead of hypno.

Sleep is basically better paralysis, as you not only have a 1/2 chance for the opponent to stay asleep on the next turn, but a 1/8 chance for them to stay asleep the turn after that as well. 3 tails in a row is something, that does occasionally happen
