New JL Rubicon Rear Axle

I added both front and rear Rubicon axles to my Jl Sport S about 5 months ago. I watched your video on trussing and install before tearing into mine. So, THANK YOU!! You did a great job describing everything! I didn’t truss mine (yet) because I’m not terribly hard on my Jeep, but that may change. My axles came complete with Rubicon calipers along w/Dynatrac HD ball joints. Everything bolted right up including rear driveline. However, rear brake lines had to be changed due to caliper mounting locations. I ended up using extended SS lines front and rear. I control lockers w/Voswitch (drivers grab handle mounted) which works really well. I had them first hooked up to my 6-Shooter along w/lights, but was concerned I’d accidentally turn lockers on under speed. Anyways, I look forward to seeing your trussing of the rear axle! That’s cool the videos helped you out on your axle swap. I did think about the rear brake lines and was going to research it more before I did the install. I was wondering did you swap from a Dana 35 or the LSD 44? Also did the e brake cable work ok? Those were the couple unknowns I had going from my narrow 44 to the Rubicon one. @@FROSTBITEOFFROAD Yes, my Jeep came w/LSD 44 on the rear. The E-brake took a little coaxing, but works just fine. I have a Teraflex 3.5 lift and it had me reroute E-brake cables from over x-member to under so that may of helped a little. I used zip ties to compress the fingers on the clips that hold the cable to the axle. Other than the rear stock brake line not mating up to the Rubicon calipers, it was a straight forward bolt-on procedure.
