I am absolutely amazed at the amount of equipment your dealer has! Here in the States we can't find anything. Last summer, we bought a new 6140m that wasn't exactly what we wanted because it was all that was available, and it has only gotten worse!!! Our local Deere dealer has 1 6E series new tractor and a couple 1 series and a few lawn mowers and that is IT!!!!! If you want to order one, they tell you it will be next year.

90% of the tractors outside will be sold awaiting delivery or pickup. They are certainly struggling to get second hand stock. Same here as you say, a new order will more than likely be the end of this year or next year!

My mates just taken delivery of a new 6130r and JD loader but it had to be ordered early July last year.

Nice one Josh those new JD'S look a nice toy 185 bhp in a tractor bit power. 7R & 8R are just huge and I thought the 250R was a BIG machine. Looks like you all spent well in the shop. You purchase some pink overalls for your Mrs to be ?? HARR HARR 🚜🚜

you'll be waiting a long time. It took 9 months from order to delivery of my 6r185 and dealer messed up spec, so have had to reorder another one. expected June next year!

I’m lucky enough to use one at work and it’s a lovely tractor, plenty power, nice layout but there’s one thing that lets it down and that’s the size of the tank it’s got the same tank as the 155r but has 30 more hp and that makes a big difference 😂 it can’t do a full day of heavy work without making a call for some more diesel 😂

Asda a few years back were selling a thermos cup that just sat in those JD cup holders just perfectly. Otherwise a part roll of silage tape makes an excellent insert so a normal sized thermos cup sits tightly or push the boat out on a JD cup holders but it’s fairly expensive but cushioned inside so mugs sit snuggly. Nice to see Lewis as had a short conversation with him last night and guess will meet him shortly at my nephews stag night and wedding. Hopefully Josh your working on getting him through his tractor test? As there’s been hints of using my JD 6210 ( ex research farm) from my nephew.

Ahh right, I have seen the inserts you can get. Will have to get myself one before the summer! It's tricky as we aren't allowed to let Lewis or any students operate any of the machines. They will be getting the driving experience at college at the moment. The 6210 will be ideal as you need a manual gearbox tractor, which we dont have here anymore! Hope shes still running well!

I am a massey man but also look at JD as there are local dealers and a good tractor but just think with all of them the new ones aren't much different to what we currently have.Do you think the same?? The price is usually the main difference between the old and new models.!!

Yeah I do agree. A lot of similarities in the new 6R models from the old ones. I guess if they have a good product there isnt much point in changing it. I like the masseys too, would miss the greenstar though!

Got two masseys with guidance now,it does work well! I know greenstar supposed be the best.A few years back I thought I would bother with all this gps nonsense, but wouldn't want a tractor without it now.

Hi bud! I wear Bekina wellingtons. Most comfortable ones I have found yet, and I’ve tried all the expensive ones! They never last! The bekinas are about £50 and exclusive to mole valley I think!
