This is my favorite Jordan shoe Period. My HS colors are burgundy and back in 06 there was nothing more that I wanted than to walk the halls with these on feet. So appreciative for this retro and was fortunate enough to Copped 2 pairs of my favorite kick of all time. Loved my ever so comfortable wolf grey 5s btw.

Plenty of pant color options...grey jeans or joggers, indigo, light denim, camo, khaki, black, white if you don't care about season does and don'ts.

I think you both were right about the nostalgia side…I am fortunate to have my business doing so I can get stuff that was unthinkable when I was a kid,,,,may be that is why I do not own single collab sneaker in my small collection…but you are correct these are a bit expensive. Where I live these released 4/5 days ago and they are still available most sizes. The palomino 1s released today and still a lot of sizes are available. Love from BG.

Foamer, I love them too but $225 is just a higher amount than I want to pay. However, I may try to see about getting a discount to purchase. Have to prioritize now of days with the increase in price on everything else. Nike could have done $190 or $200 for successful sellout or purchase from consumers.

Definitely knew Foamer would be all over these, with all that burgundy. I passed myself on these 5s , i never wore my OG pair enough to justify buying the new retro of the AJ5 Burgundy but with how much they are sitting (likely due to the inflated retail price and AJ5s often don't get the love anyway) might grab them on sale if i reconsider. I do like the nostalgia we are getting of late , some of those early Js where Nike / JB were just venturing out into new / non-OG colorways. We got a few retros recently that fit into that group - Thunder 4s , Chambray 7s , these Burgundy 5s etc.

I hit on my local raffles at hibbet’s sports!! I coped and not disappointed. Yes $240.00 dollars was a lot but these in hand go crazy. Plus I think Nike drop them at the wrong time cause of heat that is coming!!!! These should have drop in October, numbers would have done better!!!
