Same because this is America for crying out loud. I doubt it would look good in the American public eye if they debut very young minors. The age was 12-15 before, I saw many people signed a petition to change it but they just added one year, like what is that supposed to do? they debuted "old" (not at all lmao) idols as well...such as Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Mako, Twice's unnie line, Itzy's unnie line. and the age range for the nizi project was 14(?)-22 so i don't understand why they the max age here is 16 (now 17 for those born in 2005).

I didn't pass the audition but I've been practicing my singing and dancing to become better. I have been singing for about basically my whole life but i took it seriously for 11 years now and i started to dance for my whole life and i took it seriously for about 5 years now by performing in school performances and other performances in front of huge crowds. I'm hoping to become the best I can be and i know that there will be more opportunities like this in the future so I will try my best in any future Opportunities

They will accept as many applicants as they want to attend the LIVE audition, however only 5 girls from Chicago, NYC, etc. will move on to the ACTUAL Survival Show! Basically take it as- you're auditioning to be able to audition for the show LMAO

For your first question, I'd say so tbh, there's more Black/Hispanic/Asian passed contestants so far but it could also be based off of their talents and how they performed in-person yk- hopefully this helps :")
