Craving a new Kaleidos palette that is as interesting as the Club Nebula. The quads are cute but they aren’t anything wow. Even though you make them look incredible but I think most of that is skill vs an exciting product.

Packaging beautiful. The quads I feel like I already have with PMG. I am wondering if multichrome liners are worth it compared to just using my multichrome shadows as liners which I already have been doing. Like is the payoff different? Better? Is it a formula thing? That's the only thing I'm curious about

You could use these in your waterline, but yeah otherwise they probably aren't worth it.

I think the liners, might be geared towards people who either want to touch up their makeup or people who have never tried a multi-chrome and/or only use a little bit of color on their eyes. Pencil eyeliner is fairly easy to use so I think if someone tried a multi-chrome in an eyeliner first and liked it, then they would be more inclined to try an eyeshadow after.

I just don’t think I’m into these quads. The one shimmer per quad just isn’t it for me, esp when the mattes are all the same tones. If they were 50/50 I could get down with it, but really I just want another big palette ☹️

That lavender shimmer from the iris palette is gorgeous! That’s the only part of that palette I can see myself using, so I’d be super interested in knowing if you have any singles that are similar/dupes 💜

Purple is my favourite colour so I love the quads!!! When I saw the image at the end of the teaser video on Instagram (the emblem on the front of the palettes) all I could think is that it looks like a uterus. I laughed so hard when I saw the imprint on the shadow in the palette because it looks like a 🍆. Also the name of the collection is The Night of Creation 🤣

Love kaleidos' eyeshadow formulas, flowing haze is so beautiful but I definitely have those colours in my collection already ten times over. Glowing Iris is so gorg tho and definitely going on my wishlist. Excited to see some comparisons, especially since lunar lavender is one of my most used palettes 💜

I absolutely love both quads but saying that, I own all of the tones a few times over in my collection of singles in formulas I love. So I made a dupe palette of both quads together with an additional shimmer to make it a 9pan 🤗💜

Glowing iris is similar to Lancôme’s 5 pan palette jacaranda bloom but Lancôme’s is not pigmented and buildable. So tempted to get glowing iris!

I mean how is purple taking over? Lunar Lavender is purple but other than that there's a couple purplish shades in escape pod and this quad and that's it. And they're mostly different undertones and shades of purple. What other purple palettes do they have? Am I forgetting something?

I’m not unhappy with purples - at least the more muted one leans pretty neutral and Lauren is skipping the darkest, brightest purple all together in her look. Maybe the next quads will be another color! Probably too early to tell, but knowing Kaleidos, they will have lots of color options - all wearable - going forward!

BeautyandtheFrizz was going on and on about how great you did with this collection and I already had it saved to "watch later," anyway....you did an amazing job showcasing and playing with the liners and comparing the shadows!! I really appreciate it when youtubers take the time to swatch it out and compare and then of course play with them on camera for us. I am 39 but still pretty new when it comes to making these looks and feeling confident in the techniques. You look beautiful! Thank you! P.S. I got the newest collection of Odens Eye eyeliners for my birthday in July. Not only did the plastic wrapping around each one annoy me but as soon as I tried to use some of them, they immediately broke off! I thought I was just unlucky because everyone raves about the brand. So I am super disappointed in the eyeliners from the "Solmane II" Gel Liners. 😬🥺

I'm so glad I watched this review before I planned to buy anything when the collection launches. I'm way less interested in the quad I wanted (the more neutral quad isn't nearly as purple/mauve as I'd hoped and I'm not a fan of the grey base the shades seem to have) and WAY more interested on the multichrome liners! Holy crap. I'm going to have to stop myself from buying the whole collection, these look very impressive. I've been seeing some brands stepping into multichrome liners but Kaleidos really stepped up the game with these finishes and shades, and the pigmentation you can achieve.

I'm starting to think these are the cool-toned versions of Sashimi City and Lunar Lavender - those two plus the most recent quads must have been big hits with a wider audience, so it would make sense if they're expanding their offerings with trendier cool-toned neutrals. I might pick up the taupe one eventually but this is way less exciting than their previous launches.

I am not sure which of these I want. I’m waffling between the two. I feel like I was drawn to the Flowing Haze. But mauve tones like that can look bruisey depending on the tone. I am also nervous about the blue one because those colors make my eyes look grey and not blue. But your look was so pretty, but you had to add other things. That you mentioned that the Haze quad was black based is a bit of a red flag, because I’m so pale. 😭 idk what to do.

Have you tried the sugar drizzle polish duochrome liners? Theresa is dead recommended them, they’re very affordable and they’re thin, I have 3 of them and they’ve never broken on me!

I am interested in some of those liners, but I'm hoping to see a comparison to the sugar drizzle ones. I don't think this is limited edition, so I'm not in any rush to buy them. I love purple eyeshadow, but these aren't screaming add to cart. I have a fairly large collection at this point, so it's harder to find things that excite me. I ordered the shroud batty bean Hallo-been palette this morning and I picked up a custom palette of mostly sale shades from lethal cosmetics over the weekend. I'm definitely wanting the sigma Alice in wonderland palette too.

Thank God, if it wasn't my birthday I wouldn't be able to get these and I love them!!!! Great review, Lauren! This was so helpful and although the Iris quad makes my brain fuzzy (plus irises are my fave), I know I can pass on the FOMO and bust out my Menagerie Cosmetics Violet Ink 6 pan palette. I can get the same looks and blurple as the Iris quad. Love your eye make up, as always
