Same here, born '71. I remember 1989 like it was yesterday. These acts for the most part didn't get critical appeal, but we knew that there was something oddly special about that time. I've thought for years about making a documentary on music in just the end of the 80s because of all of the interesting signs for where music was going as well as a whole treasure trove of lost classics. Ratt,Crue, Cinderella, Kiss, Salt n Pepa, NWA, Public Enemy, New Kids, En Vogue, Debbie Gibson, Michael Jackson etc. 80's were a time we listened to all kinds of music. GenX was never put in a box- we listened to all types of great music. This song is freaking awesome. Lamestream media will ignore it so we need to pass it along to everyone!

I’m a NEW Metal head....for 1 year now! I turned 70 years ‘OLD’ last year! Old age sucks big time! I would give anything to 🐝 30 or 40...maybe even 50 once again! Sadly, Life just doesn’t work that way! I have lots of anxiety and depression and the only thing that truly helps is music...... I have my radio on probably 10 hours a day....... I don’t know who invented music it was probably tens of thousands of years ago...... thank God for Music! gd_21 👍😉❤️

NKOTB always had a good sense of humor, and I love that you have to pay attention to all of them throughout the song, not just the main singers. Salt n Peppa, En Vogue, and Rick Astley? Not a combination I'd ever thought I'd see, but this is amazing!! Is it just me or do they sound better now than they used to?

Every time I listen to this song a new memory of the 80's comes back to me. I graduated in 89 so this takes me back to a place where I was on top of the world. It takes a lot of growth to attain the maturity and wisdom needed for one to reach the point in their life/career that the intention isn't to be the most popular or the most successful, but instead is just about having fun and enjoying what you do.
