The real clever thing about this track, for me. The way in which he layers and tier the references. He has smart metaphors and references that appeal to straight up hip hop fans, then he has background, subliminal references and lingo, that you only catch if you're Jamaican/Jamaican descent. For a 2nd generation Jamaican, hip hop fan (like me) Klashnekoff is food for the soul, an absolute legend.

Just came across this.. As someone from the UK myself I know there was a lot of, lets say: questionable performances from my country, lets not mention the maths guy. However Kay-Lash, he makes us proud to be from this country. He has some amazing tracks, Jamrockville Takeover, Blackrose Remix, his feature with Lowkey (Another fantastic rapper) on blood sweat and tears. Seriously this guy is a gem in a lot of rough.
