It seems the attachment can be found in certain crates. There was no mention of this on the devblog, so I am currently unaware of all the types it can be found in. I will try to get more info on all the locations and update this post. For now, feel free to comment below with the locations you have found it and we can try and build out a list.

I feel like a lot of people overlook the M39, it's easily one of the better guns in the game. Fast draw time, descent damage, low recoil, and semi auto for quick follow up shots. If you only run one gun, it's a good pick.

The best thing about the gas compressor is ammo economy. You get more out of one mag of ammo in terms of fewer reloads, and more value out of a stack of ammo in terms of crafting cost.

The unsung heros are suppressors as this practically reverts the damage debuff. Essentially, it is also good at stealth as well as increasing loud range.

Yeah, actually makes using the suppressor less of a pain. However, in the end, you are still left with -5% dmg, and -5% velocity which will negatively impact your DPS, time to kill, and potentially shots to kill, so it depends on playstyle and if it's worth it in your scenario.

i hate how you didnt even talk about how good it feels on the m39 at all. the update a while back made the m39 8x combo kinda bad but the velocity boost and just the way it boosts damage feels soo good to me. i did not experiment with muzzle attachments at all but the lazer basically took the knockback away and the kick to scop zero is nearly perfect for time to fire again with one

Tommy with ext-mag laser holo is insane cuz with the slow fire rate you are so efficiant with ammo, you can kill like 5 fullkits before reloading. Absolute playmaker.

Hey Jfarr, love your videos! But I have to say I've come across the GCO attachment in the yellow crates in underwater labs several times! I haven't found them anywhere else but I guess they are a lootable item in underwater labs.

Jfarr , you know this Gas Compression Overdrive will affect to a certain extent the output damage of the Auto Turret ?

It's good on low fire rate guns, but i would not use it on the smgs. Just use a muzzle boost, and it's time to kill is faster than the muzzle boost with the overdrive.

I found one in a loot crate. It only allowed me to fit it onto a SAR. I tried it on the semi pistol, Glock, M39, LR300, Thompson and AK before finally getting frustrated that it would not attach to any of those and finally trying it on the SAR. The SAR was the ONLY one it would attach on! Maybe it was a glitch they have patched since then but it seems to me it was a HUGE waste of time.

Since they don't allow it with a burst module, that's likely why they also didn't allow it on the glock and lr300. It absolutely is allowed on the m39/thompson/semi pistol though, unsure what was going on with your situation there.
