I hate that they polished the center links on the bracelet of the new conquest, makes it too blingy for an everyday piece for my tastes. I also prefer 36 to 38mm, so I'd take the king Seiko over the conquest and it's not even close

King Seiko's were known for their accuracy, so for the new versions to have 6R movements is hugely disappointing.

Tag Heuer have been on a real streak lately, and this new model adds to that... whatever is going on there, may it continue. The king Seiko is nice, but somehow, the bracelet just doesn't match the case, and the fit at the lugs is a little off, sadly... colours are popping, though. The AP just demonstrates the problem with AP at the moment... they are milking the RO to death and yes, I'll never ever own one, but for a maker that is regarded so highly, why not highlight a few others in your line up rather than milk the cash cow, they sell regardless... better yet, do something new. The Omega, yeah! It's okay, but will be overshadowed by the next "big" release by omega worn by a certain bond recently... that said, a titanium movement is pretty cool... loved the G SHOCK reference too btw... maybe AP took a look at the GA2100 and decided a rubber bezel was the way to go 😂 awesome video as usual and apologies for the long comment 😊 here's to next Sunday 😉

Thanks for the video. The AP releases are pretty significant. First Offshore that is NOT a chrono or diver. Plus a return of the rubber clad bezel (was there before)

Following the logic of the G Shock and I agree. Why would anyone want a Chono? To me they are useless. Timing the dials are small and a G shock or your smartphone is way more accurate.

@@mattk8166 they are high end horology and deserve their prices... Unlike the Seiko. Sorry if you are a fan but I've been ripped off a couple of times by seiko recently with poor specs, atrocious quality control and even worse movement regulation then had to deal with abysmal customer service. I didn't even pay anywhere near rrp for either and was still highly ripped off.

When considering the King Seiko price you could say the same with the Longines Conquest. The Longines calibre is just a modified ETA, is more expensive and I don't think it's COSC certified. The KS design is also more interesting but prefer the 38 mm size.

All the Swiss-made watches are overvalued and overpriced insanely, but nevertheless, there are lots of people who are willing to buy them with absurd money. They are just the combinations of cheap elements and materials who no accuracy compared to digital watches, and pouring money added to overhaul. Any over-priced watches cannot save or earn time only for you. Mentally hooked on advertisements of makers.

Sorry man, but no one was asking for that Omega!! Titanium might be very interesting, but not for me! Watches feel cheap… this one will be even worse! And NOTHING justifies asking 50k+++ eur for it!

I’m not sure why anyone would buy that watch at 50k. At that price there are far better high end watches to be had. I would respect that watch if it came in at a sane price. Omega is trying to create exclusivity through exorbitant pricing. I predict that watch will depreciate in value dramatically over the next few years as it is quite gimmicky.
