Imagine being a recently graduated High Schooler in 1965. With a job and a cadre of 6 close friends ALL scared to death of being drafted and sent to possibly die in a foreign war that almost nobody wanted. Continuing, what would happen if a former sports hero from your school became a cop and bought this very car (in white) and gave rides to these six teenagrs. One of them was me. We were all thrilled. BTW - all 6 DID go, 3 didn't come back. Thanks Chris

thank you for your service. This hit me hard man... I am in my mid 50s so I missed at that shit... but I can't imagine what it was like. I feel bad for anyone who had to deal with crap like that. People today seem to take it for granted for sure..!!!

My sisters and I learned to drive in a 65 coronet. It was a staple car in our memories I recently purchased the sedan version so I can build from memory. You give me so much confidence. Been doing models for nearly 30 years off and on. Always seams to be a new challenge when starting up Thank you Huge fan of yours Don Franks

Thanks for the video. These are great kits as I have two versions on my bench right now. I can not stress how much motivation I get from watching you whip these kits out! I used to take offense! Now I look around at the hundreds of kits on my shelves and figure I better get on it! Thanks!

Very impressive modern kit and I like that Moebius shows a completed model as an example of how everything should look when it's completed - Tamiya used to do that with the more complex subassemblies on some of their car kits, particularly the 12th scale ones. Congrats on the 100K milestone, this was one of the first model kit channels I subscribed to when I started watching KZbin religiously during the 2020 lockdowns. And after the altered wheelbase drag car and this variant, I'm really looking forward to the "bone stock" version.

Chris I think you would like to know something about the 65 Dodge A990 kit. There were only 101 of them made by dodge for raceing. They only had a driver side wipper no right side one. and no right or left outside door mirror. front side fenders did not say Coronet on them, it said Dodge.

The original Hemi cars were light weight special built race only cars, with no Vin numbers, or titles, only a bill of sale. They could not be registered, or legally street driven. Meant for NHRA Super Stock competition.
