DCA you are spot on when it comes to knives for “kids” and the handle size being equally if not more important than blade size. I think you’re the only person I’ve seen that thinks the Demko fixed blades are a good price, considering it’s a Taiwan made Aus10 blade with plastic handles it’s seems to be almost twice what it should be. I think you’re paying for the sheath more than the knife in this case.

If I had my first choice it would be a K390 blade with a blue handle color that matches my Japanese K390 Spydercos. Looking forward to the Enuff 2 K390 by the way. Next best would be 3V in maybe OD green or FDE for the handle. Love the content, keep up the good work!

I was on bladehq earlier there's a crktt raikiri for 35ish, and then the same exact knife, but a different manufacturer. The other knife has vg10 for the blade and damn near 700 dollars. The quality of vg10 as compared to the 4116 in the crkt. Is definitely not worth over 600 dollars in price increase. But most of these manufacturers are selling their knives at fifty to two hundred percent more than they're worth. As long as people are willing to pay for the brand name. They'll continue to raise prices. It's ridiculous especially when I can go on ebay or Amazon and find hand forged fixed blades at reasonable prices. But I've never been one to pay for a brand name. I pay for quality and materials only.
@mikerollins3088 Жыл бұрын
@Gerald Williams I have the Crkt Raikiri and I bought it because it was on sale from like $69.99 down to $32 or so. Its an okay knife but never would I ever have paid $69.99 for it...not even close! Most of Crkt knives should list for $30-$50 in my opinion.
