On the Kizer Baby they have the angled pocket or belt clip and they are as cheap as chips. I prefer those clips for the pocket because I can angle the handle to completely hide.

The Deckhand has G10 liners and the scales are removable. Also the hole pattern on the sheath will work with large TekLok style belt clips or even with ulticlips.

Picked up the Gordon Multitool from Harbor frieght on your recommendation and I'm super happy with it. I don't even mind the non replaceable wire cutters and the action is smooth and one handed.

Really like the look of the Smolt. Very good size for EDC. Thanks for sharing. The other idea for Kizer is to just include 2 soft loops with their fixed blades. Cheap enough to do and gives the custom better options for cross appendix carry or scout carry.

That deckhand would be amazing in h1 for neck knife carry. IMO Thanks for the reviews :)

You can adjust the crappy sheath clip to carry horizontal

I've been eyeing both of those fixed blades for awhile. Both are very appealing.

You may already know this "trick", but just in case... On the Deckhand, try this: Clip it inside your right front pocket in the "reverse" position, with the clip outside. When you reach for it, face your right palm away from your body and run your hand downward between your body and the knife handle. Grasp the handle, and as you pull the knife, turn it so the point is forward. Once you get used to this motion, it seems more natural than pulling "straight up" from a belt or pocket sheath.

Kizer is doing great things with great products for amazing pricing. It's a shame when people assume anything in China is low quality. But they can keep over paying for Benchmade. I like to get the most out of my money.

If you’re going in the woods, you might want that big clip on there. And I think it’s actually generous for them to provide that because you can just take it off if you don’t like it. At least if you’re someone that wants to wear it out in the woods you’ll have that option. I can understand in the city not wanting that huge clip on there because most people don’t just wear knives out on their hip in the city, but then again most people in the city aren’t gonna carry a knife like this we have no use for it.

I like the designs and materials of Kizer but the hrc test I seen on thier s35vn were 58. I don't trust that they are running the different steels hard enough for optimum performance.

Companies need to stop making liner locks. Crossbar is the future, and the future is now.

i want a crossbar lock with a coil spring its so easy to implement so i wonder why companies arent doing it more
@lordquenntillieusiii92505 ай бұрын
I disagree I think liner locks absolutely still have their place and until the omega spring is universally scrapped in favor of coil springs I don't think the crossbar lock can be hailed as the future. I think that spine locks like the Super Lock because Snecx didn't patent it are part of the future. I also think that the compression lock now that it's patent is up boasting it's fidgety finger safe operation while still having a true detent is the true "future" alternative to liner locks

Do you ever make videos about the why, how, when of EDC rather than just product review after product review. Most of the top EDC Channels just seem to be commercials for gear. Let's see a few videos about what's good about EDC what's bad about EDC, why we carry, what does the future hold, rather than just gear reviews 24/7
