I know if a handle works for you, it will work for me, especially with how you put every knife through the same tests. Really appreciate your work.

I've always been a folder guy, but thanks to your influence I've been moving toward fixed blades. That Boerte looks great, especially at $26.

Great video! I have been collecting and carrying fixed blades all my adult life. I believe I have found the perfect EDC knife. Tops SAW. It’s a bit Belicose, but it’ll do everything I want it to.

I’ll be honest, I had little to no interest in fixed blades until I started watching your reviews of them. 😎👍🏼

Lol I think that’s how it goes because about 8 years ago I wouldn’t even look at fixed blades yet alone buy one besides the small few I had for hunting but it all started when I had a neck knife kick for a year or so then I started to see how much I liked carrying one 👍🍻🍻

Did you ever end up buying one? I picked one up as an impulse buy when I was buying a UtiliClip for another knife. I figured, "for $28, if I break it, I break it". Mine also came with a questionable grind/sharpening out of the box. I touched it up on a stone and strop and haven't had to sharpen it since. The darned thing holds an edge well. I live on a farm and this little thing is abused. It has become my every day work knife - replacing my much more expensive WhiteRiver Model 1. Yes, the WhiteRiver is better in every way, but I could snap 5 Eafengrows in half and still come out on top. 🤣 Also, my kydex sheath was the opposite - the retention was too much at first.

Haven't commented in a while, but I really like the level of detail in this video. I'm in the market for my first EDC fixed blade. So far, nothing seems to compare to the open land, But that's definitely cheating at this price point lol

I think my 2 favorite ones at the moment are the SCHWARZ overland sport, and the Axial Alpine V2 both are great 👍

I like seeing all the high end stuff. It's good to see some "budget" stuff that is more attainable. Like all the content though.

I’ve had 4 or 5 of the FLISSA Fixed blades on the channel and man one of them wowed me after the testing. It didn’t have the best sheath but boy did it perform well for its price point 👍🍻🍻

So you trust the Eafengrow steel listings? I remember LTK showing they had false listings with the steel punch tests.

How does the izula II compare to these blades? I carried an eskabar for quite a while, I wish Ka Bar did better with the sheath, but it continues to be a pretty solid option.

Dimond "stones" are the only way to go. Most actual stones are too soft for the carbides in the steel. The worksharp belt system also works amazing and will set you back only a little more than a Dimond set
