Throw some 6s shocks on it. I did that on my 4s Outcast and it really helps soak up landings, then you have the threaded bodies as well.

Love that you're covering this car man, love my Kraton 4S V2 (not the new one), I just recently broke the "neck" of the chassis but that was after so many huge sends. It really is a beast. The only weak point I found was the center driveshaft gets wrecked if you get any rocks in there, but an aluminum HR replacement solved that problem. I think altogether I only broke 2 driveshafts (from bad landings) and an arm when it was really cold. And I got it September of '22! Even raced it on a dirt track a couple of times in the 1/8th scale E-truggy class! It's an incredible truck for sure. It's so lightweight it lands with a satisfying *bonk* and takes it no problem. Stay warm out there in the brutal cold, we've got 9 degrees here in NJ mornings lol I can't even walk to the car let alone take out my trucks 😆

That is my go to rig and it's absolutely amazing, love that truck. I have the V2 that's running a slipper clutch instead of the center diff. But the price, the speed, the durability and the looks, hard to beat, In my opinion the Arrma 4s rigs are right in the sweet spot. Oversized 1/10th scale and killer performance, thanks brother for sharing that vid with us!

I’ve been really impressed with the 4S trucks that Arrma has been putting out. The Mojave kicks some serious ass. My only gripes with that truck is the proprietary 23 tooth servo saver they tucked away in there. I may just end up selling my Talion 6S and putting that money towards parts on a Kraton 4S

Due to it's small size I think the Granite Grom (with minor upgrades) is the toughest Arrma. But it might be too small for your liking.

Welcome to the cheapest and best-hidden secret of Arrma. Everyone desires the largest RC, but they end up paying more for 2+ (6S) or doubling their battery cell size (8S). Paying extra for an 8S (30+ lbs) or 6S (16+ lbs) might lead to more breakages upon impact with the ground in a bad landing, and it's worth noting that 8S is slower than the 4S with all of that rolling mass/weight, etc.

Kraton is a truggy, Maxx is a monstertruck. But booth are very good! Handling could be a bit better with the Kraton. SpareParts/SparePart Prices the Maxx is better. Tyres the Kraton is better. Price the Kraton is better. Durability the Maxx could be a tiny bit better still, or they are the same level.

I think cold is Judge by the climate you are used to not the temperature on the other side of the world and if you're from Texas Florida California Annie's Southern States yeah 33° is cold I live in Maine it's 33° here every morning 4 to 6 months out of the year but 33° Shore does sound cold for Texas

Exocage is cool. But yeah, he is no real hardcore basher, BUT he is a hardcore Crawler Expert !! And Do RC made some awesome videos where he shows the new parts/differences! But his new "ultimate xrt project" is....not 100% my style.
