New Kubota KX030-4 Compact Excavator

Just got my KX057-5 about a month ago for my farm... and I have to say it is absolutely awesome. Bigger and heavier than the 030 for sure, but still not too big to get into most spaces. Regardless of what size you get, excavators are by far the most fun of the compact equipment. :)

Would you do some control and operations explanations on larger tractors/excavators/other equipment? I have run old tractors, and have my own sub compact, but when you were driving the new holland the other day I have no idea what any of those buttons or controls do. And I’ve always wondered how those larger tractors are operated. Thanks!

I love my U25. Tons of power for a 6k machine. Ive installed septics with the thing. Something similar sized with a cab and ac would be nice.

My CAT 302CR is a 5k machine w/ A/C and a pressurized cab, love it. The 302.7 also has it and a similar size boom and stick to your machine, but I think it is closer to a 7k machine with the cab. Cat has a/c available all the way down to the 301.6 machine (same cab as my 302), crazy that Kubota doesn't have a/c on this "updated" model.... I rented a U25 once, liked it too, just wasn't going to buy a machine that didn't have a/c available when you wanted it!! Have a good one!!

My kx-71 and kx121 had proportional control on the thumb hydraulic. I can’t believe the tractors don’t have it for 3rd function valve.

this model is new only in north america because you can find used 2017 one in england

The model number has been used before overseas, but that was a different machine.

this machine got a big engine for is size but the hydraulic system is lower than a bigger one whit the same engine so i am dreaming to boost the aux pump to 16gpm for flail cutter or brush cutter

If you intend to run some kind of cutter on the end of the machine, I would not buy this one. It's too small.

It’s important to note that the engines on the 30 and 33 have the same horsepower, but not the same displacement.
