I feel like these Lacoste fragrances achieve exactly what they set out to do. Good smelling, fresh fragrance that you don't have to put much thought into. My Blanc Eau Intense gets tons of usage! A no-brainer for 40-50 bucks! Will be picking this up once it hit discounters.

Ya the intense is really nice but the Eau fraiche is next level for me top 10 fragrance imo

This was my favourite fragrance as a teenager and despite me searching the internet for the original bottles for the last few years, it would seem that the only people that have them available are the unscrupulous scalpers on E-Bay that are asking stupid money for them. I even wrote to Interparfums - the new Lacoste manufacturer - and pleaded with them to bring back the original and you can understand my excitement when I saw that they rebranded the ‘Original’. I was ecstatic! Unfortunately, when I took delivery and opened the bottle, instead of being wowed by the smell of the original Lacoste and hoping that I’d be whisked off on a magical trip down memory lane…I was bitterly disappointed that it didn’t smell anything like the Original! In fact, it was almost indistinguishable from the bland Lacoste fragrances of the last few years and smells powdery and unoriginal and has no hint at all of the heady citrus and lavender of the original! I’m not sure who the perfumer was that was responsible for recreating this classic fragrance but they have failed miserably and I am gutted! You’d think if somebody was tasked with recreating a perfume, they’d at least have the original to hand to compare. This smells NOTHING like the original and I would strongly recommend staying away from this abomination.

So let me say, I grew up with the 1984 lacoste which was absolutely fantastic, I saw this and thought wow! They've done it! They brought it back but in a new outfit, err...how wrong was i, unfortunately this is nothing like the 1984 original which kinda pissed me off. It's full of that chewing gum modern note and the heady wood note you get in all modern fragrances, it's very head strong, smells like you've been to the duty free and sprayed every fragrance on your arm until the notes are just a mish mash of crap. So very disappointing for me but if you're unaware of the real original, you may like it.
