@TullioK PART 3: -we've loved the Niva all these years, with all her virtues and faults, becuause it is, in our opp. a timeless conception. -however, the new niva is, when it comes to driving, a completely different story. in positive light, ofcourse. it is now a very soft and drivable car, without the hard clutch and servo, and unbearable noise in the cabin due to imperfect cardan transmission. new set of clutches is softer, and new servo is now for enjoying the ride.

PART 1 this video is a review one year and 25.000 km after introducing a mechanically upgraded car, with 25-26 modifications. "during past year the car had no technical problems, which makes this car a serious player in the market, esp. taking into account price/quality ration. " "after a year and km's this car is still in great condition, meaning mileage had marginal effect on its condition."

PART 4: the maybe most significant innovation is a perfected cardan shaft and bearings, which stop the characteristic vibrations. only stiff original russian tires negate otherwise quality feeling. other changes include sourcing a Bosch injection system, which makes the engine quieter and smoother, and especially at lower RPM's, more elastic, and with lower fuel consumption. entire braking system has been re-done, and breaking is now softer and more effective, with self-ventilating front disks.

PART 5: "entire suspension is changed, making it especially comfortable, and the factory states the new Niva can, fully laden, manage a 58% slope. for noise, the entire sound isolation has been redone, including engine hood, now isolated from inside." next are measures,... weight: 1200 kg. length: 3740 mm engine: 1690 ccm, 4-cyl, 8V, in-line, direct injection, 80HP, 131Nm, gasoline. max speed: 137 km/h, 19 sec 0 - 100 km/h price tag: 7850 euro ... and that's all, folks!:)

@comanderjuul PART 2: only spotted mechanical failure was end of a cable, serviced on time. no other faults were found. car is owned by our redaction. "honestly, redesign contributes the least to modifications. only different are front direction blinkers and mirrors. now bigger. in intererior, seat cloth and instrumental panel were redesigned, latter with 2 small LCD." but, what makes this Niva totaly different are changes in mechanics"
