New Lake...NEW PB! Falls Lake, North Carolina!

I had a four day weekend off work for President's day, so I decided to head to NC to spend the weekend with Misty and buddy Dusty and his wife-to-be, Terri Lee. I chose to go down during this small window in February because i figured the weather would be a lot warmer there than it is here in Ohio. Due to a cold snap across the US, the weather was warmer, but still around 45 degrees. Not the ideal fishing temps! Managed to find a new PB largemouth, though!

Glad to get the notification,but 3 weeks later 😮 I live in Raleigh and both bass clubs I’m in fish Falls and I love that lake more than the others,even though Shearon Harris and Jordan and Falls have had a Ton of pressure in the past 3-4 years,I just like Falls best🎉 It’s gonna be 70* this week and they’re still pre-spawn but moving up 🍀🎣🍀

Love the video dude, just an FYI - when buying the lake master chips, look at the front of the box, it will show the states that the chip has on it! Mid-Atlantic States is the one you need for NC! Other than that good job on the fish!

Yep, It was 100% my own fault. I ordered the card online and didn't read the lakes that were included. Being from Ohio, it stings to see how many cards I'll have to purchase if i want to fish the lakes I want to. So far, I have 4 cards and will be adding at least one more it seems. $200 a pop sucks! lol

Best trip I have ever had was at falls a couple of years ago. Tried it last year but had lower unit problems on day one and had to come home early. Jordan has bigger bass on average but I could never figure it out.

Man if you think thats something, drive 20 minutes south and come to my home lake, Jordan Lake. In February it takes 35lb to win and 27lb to cash a check. You can come break your pb 5 times in a day if youre sitting at a 7lb pb

I fished Jordan the last time I was there last year. It was August and hotter than heck! I just couldn’t get on them. Fished there three days and caught one keeper.

Welcome To Falls Lake,and please don’t tell anyone 😂😂😂😂 I think the last 2 weeks of February and the first 3 weeks of March is definitely pre-spawn’s finest days of the year for catching the biggurls🤷🏻‍♂️. Falls usually sucks these days,been fishing it since it was a river,it used to be land of the giants an numbers of 16 inch an over,it never been the same since they did away with 16 inch slot most fish eaters don't catch to many that big,looks like yall doing good,8-9 lbers used to be comon,10-13 lbers lost at boat back in 80,s early 90,s,I wish they would stock some f1 bass,I think there's still alot of bass in falls but it's alot of fishing presure I live 4 miles from lake,if u go past ledge rock up the river very dangerous I been fishing up there since 1982 channel silt in ,I have to be careful changes alot,I'm I a tin rig now with efi mercury 150 I still very careful I got more time than money,congrats on catch & release
