Just remember rxstrmom it's matte and oil free, Melissa has oily skin so this works well for her, not everyone has oily skin.

It's easy... loosen all your hair, rat your roots a "little" pull it back, make a pony tail, then put your fingers into the roots around your forehead with your fingers facing the ponytail and pull roots forward a bit. Then wrap your ponytail into a messy bun. Done!

You can wear corals and pinks! You are prob a Cool but with your blonde hair, you can be a Neutral. But you look good in most colors. I am a LM foundation wearer!!! Lordy, I hope people don't rely on an SPF makeup. I apply the Lancome stick foundation with my fingers. I don't think an additional brush is a selling point. I'll have to try this new foundation and see for myself. I've been using the foundation stick since its launch and will notice the difference.

I don't notice a fragrance. It for sure doesn't have any perfume smell to it. It smells a tad clinical maybe, from manufacturing it perhaps?

Thank you for asking Cathy . I am a true neutral. The color I get is a warm color, and if I had to choose I would say I have more warm undertones. I can go more yellow then I can rosy color. Rosy anything tends to bring out redness in my skin and tends to oxidize toward orange on me. But neutral or yellow undertones will even out my skin better. But truly think, except for some redness on my face, I am a neutral. I hope that helps.

I used to wear Bare Minerals then one day just didn't work for me. Now im wearing the Lancome in a bottle. I love it , yes pricey, but I don't wear it everyday. That said I love the Lancome Stick Foundation too & I am okay with the new one as well. I use mineral powder over or stick sunscreen under so I don't need that either. I sure did enjoy reading this so much. I really couldn’t see any difference at all in these two foundations. And I checked the ingredients and they were side-by-side almost identical. Oh gosh, they discontinued my beloved Photogenic Lumessence YEARS ago and I felt so cross. I bulk bought all I could find and then did the inevitable march to Lauder's Doublewear and have been wearing that ever since. That formula is a whole other ball game but still astonishingly flattering on a more mature skin. It is fantastic but I'm always wondering if something better is out there, especially with each passing year acknowledging that my skin doesn't stay the same as I age so perhaps I should stay savvy and experimental. Anyhow, the only other irritation I have with the industry is how they all left us high and dry during the pandemic and left us unable to sample foundations. What tightwads. Matching colour in store at a counter (in artificial lighting to boot) is one thing, but the most critically important element of a foundation is THE FINISH. And THAT, we can only judge when we apply it carefully all over at home and give it a test run for a full day. I may have found a better foundation but will never, ever know as those tightwad corporations can't be bothered to supply little samples for new customers to test run and fall in love with. Grrrr. PS= Your skin is gorgeous in this video.

You won’t believe this but I just ordered a new foundation from Clinique that is suppose to be here Saturday. But I know exactly what your saying because I have the same story, except mine didn’t turn out as well as yours! I used Clinique repairwear for probably 15 years and got compliments on my foundation weekly. Well they came out with a different bottle but said nothing changed but it did and I knew it had. So my mom and sister both wore Estée Lauder doublewear so I tried it, at first I didn’t like it but I just had to learn a new product. Well I’m excited to see if I will like this new Clinique, secretly I’m praying it’s my old repairwear! Will let you know how it goes. I’ve never tried a stick foundation myself but who knows if this is disappointing I just may try a stick foundation. Your foundation does look flawless! Hi Melissa it looks great on you so I'm glad you like it and it isn't gone forever. I think we've all been disappointed in the past with "new and improved" relaunches, which are not as good as the original (UD naked foundation as the main one for me). I haven't tried the lancome stick, purely re shades. I'm 008/091 in lancome (different numbers in different countries) and they have very few products in that shade (yes I am THAT pale). The stick isn't something that is offered in my shade, otherwise I would. Best wishes. ps plenty of cold/wet and occasionally snowy weather here in Scotland lol - I would be happy to see a little sun.

You got me to buy the Lancome stick. I bought it for half price at Sephora and I wish that I bought more and different shades for contouring. Although, my favorite foundation is La Mer and my 2nd best is Bobby Brown. 3rd is my it better than skin foundation.

Thanks, Melissa. My skin is especially dry now due to Retin-A. I'm afraid that a stick foundation might accentuate all the dryness. What do you think?

Love Lancome products but I've been cutting back during the pandemic. I mostly use Loreal foundation now. Thanks for the review, I'll try that when things return to normal!

I never used a stick before, I think maybe I ought to buy it. ,Maybe it's what I need. Your hair looks so pretty like that. We just snow for a couples days here in Jersey . It was beautiful and felt so fresh outside. And I made a snowman. Hope you get snow!

Well, I found out. TENNESSEE! i knew it! I love Lancome and my favorite is their dual finish foundation. I've used it for literally years. When I got older I knew that my skin condition was on the dry side and a powder was not the best for me so I went to liquid foundation. But I started adding some rosehip seed oil to my skin so now I can go back to the dual finish and it not dry my skin out, I was wondering about that stick foundation. I bet is is as good as you say. I have a tip for you. I have a girl in Ashville Mall in Dillard's that lets me have products at a reduced price. I watch the Lancome website or see by my email that certain products are going on sale by about 20 or 30 percent off. She lets me have the discount so I don't have to order and wait for it. I have to drive an hour to get there but that's ok because I need no reason to go shop. See if you can get your Lancome girl to check with her manager to see if you can get the discount at the store. It has been a savior to me because I live in a place where delivering to a street address does not get me my packages. I have a PO box that I get my mail from and the street address is mainly for 911. I have literally had packages lost for months at a time or sent back to the warehouse.

Your welcome to some of our snow here in UK. Love it , so long as I don't have to drive to work in it. Your complexion looks fantastic. I don't normally wear foundation , just a bit of fake tan but will definitely give this a whirl. Thanks again for sharing. Xx
