I have a CRP129E that seems almost identical to this one. Be careful when using with Toyota. I have noticed that it comes defaulted to Europe on Toyota models, and you'll need to "set area" to America or else it won't connect to the vehicle. I spent entirely too much time trying to figure out why it wouldn't connect to any newer Toyota's lol

Looks like it’s only the 5 reset functions the 129E has over the 123E, so the 123 is just a code reader and 129 has resets, I just did one on the 129E so I was curious too

For a pro or someone who knows what their doing, and for the cost, it is a great scanner. Works well, just a little slow, all in all it is a real diag tool. Once again if you really know what your doing

One more thing ----> there is no charger with this unit and even though it offers a USB to whatever the connector is called, I just decided to take an old PSU I had laying around and I charge it from that. After all - a Computer PSU is super clean and absolutely correct voltage and it charges the 123E just fine. I was worried 'cause the battery was still going lower and lower even if I left it plugged into the USB connex. It just didn't seem to charge very well at all that way.

One thing to remember about this scanner is that there is absolutely no support available in the United States for it. It is a gray market product being sold on Amazon. If it breaks you're on your own. I own one, it broke. Now it's a paperweight. Total waste of money.

You can graph more than one just click combine, and you can read misfire on each cylinder.

I didnt look up what resets, or functions it can do, but seems slower then my 229. Still looks like it shows all the pids, and I like that that one has the graphing ability. But if it's even 1/3 what the old ones are, it'll be a le to do most basic testing. Glad I got to see the new one jim.

CRP123E can not do reset service,CRP129E can do Oil Service/EPB/TPMS/SAS/Throttle Body Reset. other calibration service you should think abou more advance scan tool like Launch X431 Diagun IV or Launch X431 V Pro.

When I was checking my TCM on my ford focus with this launch 123e and I wanted to relearn the trans so I went to special function and it said I had to purchase it so I went to where I could buy it which was the ford full function in parenthesis it said Europe. Scan tools don't rewind mileage, however there is a tool that the AA guys use for odometer verification. And then dashboard repair places can rewind digital odometers.
