Try it with the original LM primer. I wear LM silk creme and have for about 8 years, and use her primer. Up until 18mths ago we lived in orlando which is virtually the same weather you described but for 6 mths of the year, and the foundation does not budge one bit the entire swamp like day.

ugh. now i am so torn. this review was great and it made me think i would love this foundation as well!! but jaclyn hill said the dior forever foundation is bomb tooo! what do you think? have you tried that dior one? which would you prefer?

dot com yes I have tried the Dior forever foundation! To be honest, this Laura Mercier foundation has way better coverage and feels absolutely weightless on your skin. They are both different finishes so that would depend on your preference :)

Ahhh perfect timing!! i just finished my laura mercier oil-free liquid foundation and i was debating what foundation to get next (and laura mercier works with my skin well). do you have any thoughts on the setting powder from laura mercier? Thank youuuu !!!

I used it for a few months and I liked it until I fell in love with the cover fx perfect setting powder! I still like them both, but for the price, I think I prefer the cover fx perfect setting powder :)
