Doesn't everybody have a second copy of their main? I needed a second Sayrn because my full Ubral setup couldn't fit shield tank or gating setups. I also ran out of loudout presets for more helminth abilities.

@@Cloakdasasin0 as a die hard harrow main i can confirm that most of player that has main has a second copy of their frames. My first harrow is for general purpose vanilla harrow gameplay so the subsume isn't that crazy on that one. The second one however i put 3 tau amber shards for orb energy effectiveness to replace his 3rd ability for wackier builds.

@@Cloakdasasin0 At this point I have 3 copies of Khora even though my usage of her has dropped in the last year or so. Umbral base version + Non umbral base + Umbral Prime. I only use one umbral forma on each, but that's what having multiple copies of the umbral mods at different ranks are for. In recent times, I've been enjoying the "toolkit" approach to the game more often so I have different frames for different tasks. Plus a few "cool youtube builds" like the Blood-Altar Mag and Amalgam-Argonak-Rakta-Dark-Dagger Armor strip SpeedVa Nuke...

This is such a good augment mod! (it feels like an augment mod rather than a band-aid like Swift Bite cause adds another level of power onto Lavos imo). I was about to write a comment about how I don't like Lavos as a pure weapon platform, and then you talked about the dmg% from the augment applying to his 4 as well. I love you! You made this augment instantly a lot more interesting! Catalyze with heat inherit as a single target killer and normal procs for AoE sounds amazing. I really have to test how much damage per tick I can get to! 400% modded heat (P Heat, Riven, Valence), Banes, and then additional dipping via Archon Vitality. Yummy!

Here's another niche use of this augment : You can use electric version for guaranteed electric procs on a melee weapon, allowing you to use the Melee Influence Arcane even if your melee has 0 electric damage and 0 status chance. This arcane can then help you spread any other powerful elemental statuses you apply

It's not that niche, and there is completely broken build with this. Raw toxin Dual Ichors + Electric imbuement + 2x Green Archon shards + Melee Influence. If Melee Influence is just nuke, this one is mega nuke. instant armor strip + electric bomb. And fast at that. Single tap of "E" button will be enough to strip all armor in 18m AOE.

I love that you're a fellow Lavos main! one more thing I would've mentioned is putting two +corrosive stack archon shards on him makes it so valence formation give Lavos a full armor strip with just his base kit, simply by infusing corrosive. YOu should seriously give it a try if you haven't

I would love to see a refresh of Mecha Lavos with Contagious Bond and Valence Formation. It's so crazy that since the procs of status from Mecha set are considered the companion killing and then spreads the statuses, which is then considered the pet killing, which continues

The only thing better than one lavos is two lavoses! This augment has been treating me really well, and I'm not even the kinda person who can make anywhere near the best of it. My weapons hit harder, my Catalyze hits harder, and it's finally given me a reason to go and get the Helminth Colour Theory Segment, for that tauforged corrosive shard. Lavos mains are eating well!

Hey dude. Good video. Have to tech for you with this augment. Breach Surge takes universal weapon buffs into account (ie Arcane Arachne). Valence Formation is a universal weapon mod. Did you ever want a breach surge that delivers electric or toxic procs to be self-propagating? Or a Breach Surge that strips armor? Now you have it. I replaced Catalyst with breach surge because 1) this still allow me to brew corrosive, viral, magnetic for defense debuffing while still having radiation from surge. 2) the other three abilities deal better DOT (not the status they produce but the actual ability) either by recharge time, lingering effects or coverage. Side note. Worthy Comradery aura also affects Breach Surge. Red critical viral procing Breach Surge? Yes please!!!

I have only one nitpick: Lavos' Valence Block passive also prevents status effects (like knockdown) for 10 seconds when you pick up an energy or universal orb. For a quick mission PSF may make sense, but for any high enemy density mission as long as you're casting his 3 you're probably going to be just fine. I'd recommend running Power or Cunning Drift (or possibly Preparation for even more mental damage)

i have been loving this augment with the kunai incarnon where each hit will do corrosive or toxin and i have 4 greens 2 for corrosive stacks and 2 for toxin damage (tau) and lets me kill everything :D

Something really silly you can do because of this augment is abuse Cascadia Empowered. The status procs from this augment are garunteed PER PELLET on all weapons. Meaning on a weapon like the Bronco Incarnon, you can get a bonus 6750 damage of your choice BEFORE modding for multishot. And that is ignoring the base damage of the weapon, the base procs of the weapon, the potential DOTs of the augment procs, etc. Not gonna work for level cap, but for ANYTHING else?

Lavos is super enjoyable since Swift Bite augment, and even more with this. Too bad his Prime is coming, too long to wait but too early to spend some Umbra Forma on the regular one. The non-Umbra setup is neat enough anyway. Also, love how you described him in Why Lavos clip "might not be the BEST answer, but rarely the WRONG answer"

One of the best aug. u can build a gun with electric and viral, cast toxin with the aug and u’ll be doing corro+toxin+ viral meaning it can take on all factions and u dont need to switch

If u subsume off his 2 safely if you've modded ur weapons for cold, as u can still summon all elements due to infusion. Good use case in profit taker if you're running some subsume for it like eclipse or roar

What I like about DE is how they don't shy away from taking inspiration from other games and experimenting with new mechanics, and Lavos basically encapsulates my love for that. Just a theory of mine, but Lavos was a basically DE experimenting on Skill Rotations rather than energy management. The idea was that he'd setup his skills and prime enemies with statuses before nuking them with his 4th ability, but due to the combat's chaotic nature only a few people managed to make the most out of him. What DE missed is that other games with skill cooldowns had some sort of "Normal" method of sustained damage while their big moves and skills are on cooldown. I believe Valence Formation's purpose is exactly that - to give Lavos a stronger form of sustained damage as he waits for his Nuke to finish its cooldown.

Man, I'm just patiently waiting for his Prime. I took like a 3 year break from the game and came back few months ago, did not farm or make a build for him back then and now that his Prime is pretty close I don't wanna waste forma on the regular. There is also the thing with the drip; I really dislike his gigantic elbow pads and I hope his Prime (or deluxe) "fixes" those. Sometimes I wish Tennogen creators would have a little bit more freedom in regards of the shape. Its kinda funny that whenever you zoom in with your weapon those elbow pads will become hidden.

so if im reading this correctly you can make a pure crit weapon into a cold melter, any melee into an steal path nuker, spred more lethal flames than ember and garenty emrald shard toxen healing on everything all with one mod. and thats not including the pur obserdity this can have with other frames in the mix, wanna help a voruna with lycaths hunt, viral, qorvex, rads for days, hydrodes pillage works with other players procks so you can help him out with that, this also helps topaz shards become somewhat viable aswell. this is what augment mod SHOULD be.

I really hope they make all the ability-element-to-weapon augments become immutable like toxic lash. As of now it is too easy to inadvertently ruin other players' damage-output. It's a good use-case for Narrow Minded though, and used to be fun with the old Nourish + Frost.
