To all the people who are posting comments asking so many questions, guys she is a lawyer she studied hard to become what she is. Please have some common sense. She clearly tells in her video please call the number or visit the website. Why is that we want everything for free ? We should be grateful that she is making videos and at least giving us a little understanding of the bill and everyday immigration news by breaking it down . She did us all a favor by breaking this bill into simple words and now if you have any personal question about your case be little more understanding give her a call and pay the fee and get your answers. And to you Latoya thank you so much for all the work you do it helps so many people. Thank you again.

I filed my green card Oct 2020 and Feb 2021, my case was updated to "Ready to be scheduled for an interview". I have DACA and make six figures, so I didn't need a joint sponsor nor was I a public charge. I have been married for nearly 2 years and have a child with my wife (US Citizen). There was no request of evidence ever sent. I would assume my case will be actually scheduled sometime in the summer of 2021. USCIS is working fast, and I'm surprised especially with COVID, and budget cuts. My case was processed at MSC. Hopefully, the US citizenship act gets passed to help my parents. If you have DACA and married, you should apply now as they are working fast. If the new law gets passed, it would take roughly 1 year before USCIS can fully setup applications, and imagine the backlog to process 11 million people. The wait might be > 3 years. Best to do it now before there is a backlog. Show less

I'm really hoping it passes but I can already predict this will take many months, if not, years 🤯🤯. They could have started with simpler measures like allowing US citizens parents to sponsor their undocumented sons, over 21, without papers in the US to adjust status immediately. Just like US citizens children can petition their parents. It's the same natural relationship - parent kid - somehow the law sees it differently...
