I mean... again.. i've said this before. Why can't Marvel and Sony work out a better shared deal. Marvel to Sony... you killed with the animated spider-verse films. Guess what, we want to allow you to do a 2099 universe, a 1602 universe, a Noir universe... essentially you can do any alternative universe for which there is a spider-man character and you get full access to our character library within those universe... just give us full access to all of the Spider-man characters for our 616 universe. And we share resources, work out profit sharing and merchandising.

Big spoiler here. Disney is planning to make this version of Spiderman GAY! the story starts with Peter and a human version of Kang. They're in a interracial relationship with each other. The king pin men kill the human Kang, which leads to Peter beating up most of the men and trying to chase down the rest of them, so they escape through an inter dimensional portal. He links up with a version of the doctor strange at a certain point in the movie. When he travels to alternate reality, he goes to timelines with different versions of Kang and ultimately runs into the villain. Now... most of these details have yet to be confirmed, so take it with a grain of salt. But I'm just saying. If Disney still has their sticky paws all over this. Don't expect Spiderman 2099 to be a straight male. Or a NORMAL female
