i absolutely love your looks at these botanical sets - you’ve got more insight on the plants than any other lego youtuber

naming plants by their abstracted lego forms is impressive, although some credit also goes to the lego designers' ability to capture the likeness of the real plants quite accurately

I've really enjoyed giving these to my mom for mother's day or her birthday or Christmas. More than other themes, I think the botanicals collections are easier to build with someone, which makes for a great gift.

These are beautiful and the two $30 ones look SO GOOD with the last wave too. These botanicals are some of my favourite sets Lego has been putting out in the past few years

Exciting recolours and new molds! Although I think it loses a little of the magic with these purpose designed botanical parts. They should be great for mocing tho so no complaints here!

I'm excited for the Bamboo. I'm sure they wanted some contrast and it would have looked boring if the leaves had the same green color.

I didn't think that I would like the botanicals when I first saw them. Then I built the first bonsai tree.... now I got a shelf full of LEGO plants. And I found you can get decent vases and glass stones at most dollar stores to display the flowers that don't have a LEGO built vase. Plus they are enjoyable to build, and seeing different uses for some of the parts.

those little light green pieces on the mini orchid look like a recolor of the new tulip pieces (from the Botanical Garden set, where they are yellow). thanks for the review!

I had a look at some reference photos and Jang is totally right about the bamboo, the small ones like this are usually a more pale green(even slightly sickly yellow) rather than this lush green they have gone for here.

I definitely need the remaining two of the "Four Gentlemen"! The gradiant green in the bamboo is a nice effect; I was wondering how they would accomplish that, and from a distance I like it because it has the effect of the texture of a bamboo stalk.

At some point Lego will just make a single piece entire flower, if they keep making all these super niche bespoke parts. We know Botanicals are one of Legos best selling ranges, so it's no wonder they're leaning into it more, but i wonder if they're just flying too close to the sun now. They'll have bled this tap try.

I suspect that Lego has fairly long-term plans for botanicals, hence the introduction of a number new flora -specific parts? I appreciate your knowledge of botany! (And Monty Python!) edit- but the prices? Lego is prohibitively expensive. Increasingly more so each new wave. & especially in AUD(Australia) where the cost of living soars disproportionate to the earnings of a humble musician…. 🙃

The bamboo looks very plain (naturally and correctly) compared to the colorful flowers, which makes me feel it should be $20 to entice people to buy it. It's visually so basic that I think it's a tough sell at $30.
@VampguyN852 ай бұрын
Idk about the flower arrangment in the short pedestal. It looks pretty old fartsy home or funeral parlor to me. Some the other sets look nice though. I don't care for the nougat color sadly either. Especially on the mini orchid. That would look nice as a blue orchid, and than it would coordinate with my bathroom. If it was basically a cobalt blue. The nougat in the pretty pink bouqet is fine, not great, but acceptable. The other colors make it still look nice. And the bamboo would probably look great in my bathroom also. It's an interior room, no windows, so no natural light to sun bleach. I went with the blue and yellow version of Marilyn from Andy Warhol's Lego art to coordinate my bathroom colors better.

Delightfull?????! I can’t agree! These price points are ridiculous!109 $ for 9 flowers and some leaves seems excessive…Even the pretty pink flower bouquet is overpriced especially because I got the last 2 bouquets for 40$ each. Lego truly needs to chill or else ima just start ordering off temu and funhole

Question for you, Jang: Why do the four Bouquets, each having 749, 756, 822, and 939 pieces, all cost $60, but the new Flower Arrangement 10345 costs almost double that, $110, but it has 1161 pieces, so it's not that much more.
