In my opinion, I always hoped they'd make power ups based around the Super Mario Land series (excluding 3). Maybe like they'd make a Super Mario land bundle with the Superball flower, and then Super, fire, and bunny Mario. With the Land 2 being sort of an alternative to the fire flower or the propeller or tanooki suit. I don't know just something that would be really cool to see.

Personally, I would want to see a Mega Mystery box, which comes with an interactive event (ie: platforms) an enemy and a random block. There are themes which can randomize which one you will get (Grass, Water, Desert). HOWEVER, there is a rare theme, lava theme, which the event is a mini boss, styled after the destroyable tower from Mario’s starter course. Really the only differences are the lava tile piece, and the grey color palette, and the boss. Which the boss of choice is Wendy. IDK, I just chose her randomly. I feel like this works, since you can open a box, and get new random parts to add to the course. And since you need parts to play with Lego Mario, it just works thematically.
