I just ordered one from Best Buy in the US on sale for $480 says the retail is $800. I researched online for a while and couldn't find anything else close to this deal for similar specs near this price. Lenovo has the same laptop with only 8gb instead of 12gb ram for $749 on its site. I know it's not the best but all I could afford for my daughter's Christmas gift this year. She has an old hp 9th gen intel pavilion with intel graphics and said she bought 3 games recently and it wouldn't even play them so she asked me if I could get her a laptop to play games on & do her school work and I think this should be good enough for a few years. My #1 go to for buying computers is Best Buy, they have an easy and great return policy, if you don't like it they will return it at the store no questions asked.

@@RonnieRockafella Cool :) Can I ask what games she's trying to play? I don't want to make assumptions. It's definitely going to be a big upgrade with a discrete GPU and the newer titles showcased in this video have some real bells and whistles graphically that older games won't have (these newer games typically rather unoptimized). When I first built my PC in 2013 or so I used a GTX 660, and the 3050 in this laptop is ~200% better. The system overall is less than half the cost of that desktop too. Of course, back then we were also using mechanical hard drives and much worse CPUs too. If they're older titles she's interested in, and I made it work, she'll be more than happy.

I wouldn't recommend this laptop to anyone I have a LOQ i7 14700hx 4060 every now and PC hangs, battery drains even while plugged in and motherboard dies I have had a lot of inconvenience because I made a very bad decision buying this laptop.
