I’ve know owned the bike a month and a half and I have to say I’ve just started feeling confident and relaxed on it and it does so well for a 125cc, when I park up with the bigger bikes the lxr just blends in, when I park it at college it looks nothing like a 125 and I love it

Never owned a Lexmoto LXR but as a dealer technician I have done PDI, servicing & repairs on dozens of them (if not hundreds). They are rubbish in every respect - I honestly wouldn't have one given to me for free. Obviously you can't buy a brand new Japanese bike for the same price but I'd rather have a 10/15 year old Jap bike every time. Most buyers are drawn to the peace of mind of a new vehicle with warranty, dealer backup etc but it's a scam because the parts availability is so unpredictable - Lexmoto's response to dealers is to strip the parts we need of a brand new showroom bike (that we then can't sell). I once raised the issue with Lexmoto and asked why they couldn't strip the parts from their warehouse stock and send them out to us - they told me that's not how it works and later called my boss and threatened to cancel his dealer status with them if I ever phoned them again. Once they have your money they simply do not care. Pathetic company and crap bike.

Had a go on one of these and it was so much more comfy n better to ride than my cbr. Just dont no about long term reliability on them? But i am tempted..

I have a Lexmoto ZSA 125 and I picked it up for £250. A new carb cost £30 so even if it does go wrong, they cost piss all to fix. In comparison my Aprilia RS4 50 cost £120 for a new carb

I am thinking on getting the 380cc. . The 125's now looks better-any plan on refreshing the 380 before July. If not, I might go for the CBR650R

Got my one and the engine cut out while driving. Something to do with the valves. I got my money back and just getting the euro 4 model

Hi I'm thinking of getting this bike new when I turn 17 after saving up, it looks amazing and for the price I think it is the best value for it's money out of all of the other 125s out there. Would it be ok to ride it as a commuter though to work, college and the gym? Or is it only strictly for sport and fun?

brilliant bike, you wont be disappointed! you can use it for whatever you like just make sure its clear to your insurer that your using it for commuting.

Lxr 125 or kawasaki ninja 125 ? I can’t decide.

Imo the ninja and r125 and gxs125r are hugely overpriced. Once 125cc "sport bike" style bikes are more common they'll come down to a reasonable level. No point blowing 5k on a 125cc imo unless you intend to keep it for years which most 125 riders don't. I have a lexmoto venom and they're great but you'll want more power pretty quickly, and if you've lost a couple of grand on a ninja seems like a waste to me. But hey if you love it and can afford it go for it 👍. I'd recommend the lxr out of those two purely on price alone and the performance difference is equivalent to very little in terms of useable power.

How fast does it go?

the model shown here was the Euro 4, 5 speed LXR and it was capable of around 68mph. The new Euro 5, 6 speed model is capable of similar speeds.
