Oh, I need to try this! I started out with Steinberg Pro 12 on my ST as my first ever sequencer, this really tickles my middle~aged nostalgia nerve!

thanks for demo'ing my Electra One template. I actually use the Dynamic Notes myself in polyphonic string pads, so it's nice seeing how you approached it from a completely different angle !!! 😊

Yes, need to experiment much more with this!

How much time did you invested in making this template? I have no idea how hard this is, seems comlicated? groetjes Dolleman
@newignis6 ай бұрын
@@Dolle_Man it needs some skills to acquire: you have to familiarise yourself with all Midi transmission methods (cc, rpn, nrpn, clock, sysex…), you have to know LUA for programming (all info on the internet) and then learn how the specific synth uses Midi transmissions for its own purposes. Unless you already have 2 of these 3 skills covered, I would not recommend this template as a first project. But a great thing of Electra One is that it is open source and has a sharing community. So templates shared on the forum, are accessible for anyone. You can thus reverse engineer any existing template and tweak it for your own needs without needing all the skills in full depth.

Thanks for making this delightful video! It brings back memories of my first Mac being actually an emulator on my Atari 1040ST with a cartridge loaded with real Apple ROMs. And since the 1040ST had 1 MB of RAM, it was more powerful than many of the real Macs of the day, like the legendary 128k Mac. And here you are well over 3 decades later - running Atari TOS on Win11 😂. Amazing! I had the keyboard version of the K4 back then. It was such a great synth when it came out - very good value for the money. If my memory serves me right, I may have eventually traded it in for a Roland JV-1080, which I still have in my vintage synth collection.

Didn't know that there was a Mac emulator on Atari ST! Nice!

I had a JV-1080 someone traded me a Minimoog without the kb and wooden case for it I also got the controller section so it works with CV and gate.

I wish I had the time to learn to use my E1 fully. I can't do Lua stuff...yet

I wonder if Nils Schneider will ever complete his K4v VST, that he said he might attempt? I hope so seeing as his K1v was so perfect.

Yes, would love to see that too! Maybe the filter is the more difficult part.

Hello it's wonderful what you put on the video did you use the" OmniBanker" software with the Atari simulator I had it at the time when I had my STF hardware it was used to store the sound banks on different brands of synthesizer

No, never heard of it. Is it available somewhere? Sounddiver was the big one back then 🙂

Hi Jurgen is the Bitwig Accent (Shuffle) mappable in Generic Flexi ? It doesn't seem so, and for some reason it's not selectable with Bitwig's midi mapper either... Is it possible to include that please in a future Flexi update ?
