Little Monk is legend, he is a great inspiration to me and probably any aspiring homebrewer of dungeon crawler contents I've come across during my years on dungeon crawler forums and sites, we all love his passion and continous dedication to WHQ 1995 edition. No one knows that game like Little Monk. However, WHQ 1995 itself, as much as I love it, is still a tough beast to take on for board games enthusiast in my opinion, while LM has made it so much more available, a high threshold still remains to be climed when it comes to the miniatures needed to utilies the game to the fullst. Even if you're a lucky owner of the original game, with it's awsome collection of, orcs, skaven, heroes, minotaurs, bats, rats and snotlings - there is an never ending beastiary of expensive old school plastic stuff and metal minis which might feel lik starting with a whole new hobby if taken seriously. If you happen to be a general Warhammer enthusiast or previous player of 5th edition stuff this might not be a problem, but for many board gamers less investied in wargames this might be the deal breaker. Maybe the return of Old World might ease up things, and LM also made a exceellent check list that might help a newcomer to approach the collecting differently.

I just received his Ultimate Adventure Book and Ultimate Treasure Book and they are beautiful. So professionally done. LittleMonk has everything to be able to recreate your own Warhammer Quest game. I am in the midst of this now. Anyway, thanks for the video.

Yes, I hadnt really thought seriously on trying to buy WHQ original stuff because I just couldnt spend that much, so i never thought I would ever really get it but now Im pondering on being able to afford to get a version of it because of Little Monk's work.

I really appreciate the Warhammer Fantasy/Old World’s community. I feel like these communities don’t exist because of GW but despite it. I hope to see original Warhammer Quest be re-released properly to vindicate folks like Little Monk

We're seeing Talisman being "re-released" by Games Workshop which was announced on Warhammer Community last week I believe... and with Old World seemingly doing wonderfully (Pre-Orders weekend consistently selling out) and with the extremely popular Old World dwarf faction being released... Warhammer Quest '95 may yet happen. People (including young folks) are tired of the new school, it's clear they want the old school and GW knows this (or else, they wouldn't bother re-releasing Talisman - something completely unrelated to Warhammer lore - for example).

One day i will find a 100% complete and in great shape collection of everything released for this game. Then i xan enjoy adding fan content to it as well. A few years ago i bought some ganes from a guy that had multiple, complete mint condition sets. He would t sell a single ine to me.

Rob do you feel this is worth getting the base set on ebay, despite the thousand dollar up-charge? I own several board games worth a thousand dollars total that I barely ever. Perhaps sell them and grab original warhammer quest?

I feel it is the best dungeon crawl I ever played it is the one game I always go back to….but that is just my opinion

Play it first and go from there. It's my favourite dungeon crawl too. But I have met people who don't rate it as high as me. PLay before you spend big money.
