The railroad museum is a good visit. Also Choo Choo Barn. Huge train layout that kids love. Strasburg railroad is a given. Sturgis pretzels is fun. Kids get to make their own.

I was on an Old School Amish farm that was next door to friends that are Mennonite , nothing on the property other than horse driven. Our friends helped him get his hay wheat something in because a storm was coming. The Amish came very close to being put out of their order. Just wanted to let you know.

I'm from Pa, not far from Lancaster, and they do not allow anyone to photograph them, you can photograph on their property but not them. They have no electric, drive buggies, and I'm not sure if it's Mennonites or Amish who can drive a car as long as everything is painted black including the stainless steel ..you maybe staying in Bird in hand or Intercourse, but the train is a wonderfull ride thru the countryside......I think you should have left at least two days later to see everything. 😊

I saw that food worldwide is going to be short. Maybe sort out a field for raising a little more beer starting with blackberries son. Also power could experience major problems so invest in more powerbanks to run multiple freezers and a freeze dryer to preserve food. If it doesn't happen well no loss you will have food for the foreseeable

Sorry I missed your live video. Been to D.C. and surrounding areas several times. My son-in-law is from that area. There is so much to see, just don't stress yourself out because you won't be able to see everything at once. Pick your favorite places and plan your route. If you ever go to Baltimore, the National Aquarium is fabulous, the best in the nation. It's best to take the subway system in and out of D.C. Buy a day pass and you can move around everywhere but wear comfortable shoes because you will do a lot of walking. Have a great time!

We had some horrific weather yesterday with 100mph winds never seen so many blown down trees in my life and damaged roofs and fences, fortunately it’s much calmer today which is good. My daughter used to ride with me in the summer, on my truck. We would take days off in certain places, to see the sights. St. Louis Arch, Statue of Liberty, Golden Gate Bridge. She's seen more of the US than most ever will.

We used to have a pig farmer that we bought pigs from for freezer camp and I got tired of pork for a while but I was never tired of ham yum! Try cooking your ham with pouring some red wine on it to take the salty flavor out and it adds a good taste to it!

Congrats on new babies on the farm. I'm in moundsville wv and went to Holmes County which I believe is in Ohio. Second largest Amish area in the country,.. I do believe. Very good area and I'm extremely allergic to their animal farm that I went on hay ride a few years ago. I did have a good time . Had to take allergy meds so my eyes didn't swell closed. Cheese factory up their is the best around.

My husband and I planned on going up the east coast and through Pennsylvania in 1967 we went through Kentucky and to the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee camping along the way but our vacation trip got halted in Tennessee I woke up at 3 AM and was in so awful pain we stopped at a gas station and my husband asked how to get to the nearest hospital I had a gallbladder attack they admitted me for 4 days then we had to go straight home and call my doctor he met me at our hospital and I was admitted there 2 hours later to have gallbladder surgery and never did get to the East coast. Six weeks later we got our adopted daughter.

🇦🇺In Dec 89 we went to the Perth ( Western Australia) zoo and we saw a lioness give birth. Omg, it was amazing. The mama lion was having problems delivering and the other female lioness pulled the baby out with her mouth. It was very memorable. I’m a big cat person.
