Welcome to the NEW LIFE SMP! In episode 1 of New Life and this modded Minecraft series, we explore the modded Minecraft world to find a place to build my starter base. The base is an airplane base that flies. We take the Minecraft Create mod to the extreme once again and make a flying airplane and future airport base.

Hey Scar, not sure if you've figured it out since filming this episode but Origins are randomly assigned when you first join and then each time you die. I'm unsure of what the key to see your current origin is (I think O), but if you ask any of the other server members I'm sure they'd be happy to help. I'm thinking that the particle effect you had before your first death was related to your origin.

I think his first origin was enderian. He had particles that resembled an enderman and he hid under a block in rain. Once Scar knows hot to check his origin, we'll find out what his 2nd origin is hopefully.

I thought Enderian as well, but that was not likely considering he later ran in the rain and swam in the water. My second guess was starborne, but I wasn't sure because I think starbornes get some kind of potion effect during the day.

Scar I think you'll have to revisit this base concept once the create aeronautics addon gets released, because that addon deals with planes and airships in a MUCH more indepth way. Also when the contraptions seem to bug and jitter around, do a quick chunk reload with F3 + a to fix that

There is also valkyrien skies clockwork which lets you make planes and airships using create, which is already released. But it's probably not in the pack. I think it's also running the previous version of create.

You should consider using create trains instead of minecarts for your airplains. The trains move a lot smoother on turns and slopes, and they can be both manually and automatically controlled. Bonus tip: With the trains system, you can make Jellie (mobs) ride the plains

I'm pretty sure that he's aware of the train mod. He plays on a create series with Tango, Bdubs, Zedaph, and Keralis and they connected everything with it. I'm not sure why he chooses regular Minecraft rails but I'm sure there's a reason. His base there was a moving train base and Jellie was driving it.

Hey Scar you should use the create mods windmill as the propeller for your planes as it will bring so much more life to them! I was so confused when I saw Scar during Fwhips Stream, but now I'm so excited to see what you'll do in this SMP! One Suggestion I'd make, is using Train Tracks instead of Minecart Rails. They are a lot more expensive and require a Create Setup to make, but they have much nicer and gentler curves. You can even make "Train Stations" to allow the planes to land automatically on the runways! =D

I’m so excited to see you in this series, Scar! I especially can’t wait to see ~*lore*~ opportunities with Owen! Just fyi, I think you probably have a new origin since you died, but I could be wrong. Also, the lunchpack just adds some extra inventory space to add food items, not new food items itself. Lastly, i think that floating structure you found early on isn’t a player build but rather a generated structure from one of the mods, though it is definitely very intimidating. Loved this episode, and the plane looks awesome! ❤

The shadows come from the minecart and glass panes traveling through blocks such as leaves from the trees, you should make the propeller one of those windmills to make it more dynamic while flying! Great building as always!

Seeing as the glass panes WILL travel through blocks, I have an idea on how to get Scar's plane to dip down and up: just build a section of the plane's track that goes underground! Maybe the part where it lands has a single hole for the glass pane so it's not in shadows, but that way the plane can be on the ground when he wants to get on, then have it fly away when he takes off!

have to say, the particals are often a indicator that you do have a randomly assigned origin. I would check which key is assigned to checking the origin info to make sure!! Cuz those particles are the same ones I get as a Enderman origin. Edit: nvm he died so you cant tell lol wait what origin is he now?? does he not know what this season is about? xD

He was not an Enderman. you can see him jump into the water at 4:03 and stand in the rain many seconds later without taking any damage.

Use trains instead of minecarts for the planes, they are more reliable and look way better for turning and going up and down slopes. Trains also work on schedules and when unloaded. To make them less vissable you can put the rails underground and do the same trick as you use (panes to connect to the plane) if I recall correctly. I love your content and also love that you (and the other members of the smp)are doing more modded content. Keep it up

Hope you get the origins mod working. IDK why you were sparkling on your first life if you were human but since you died you should theoretically be able to choose a new one. Perhaps one that can fly or just doesn't take fall damage?

You should use a Create train instead of a minecart contraption! It allows smooth track curves for turning, you can put it across 2 bogies for smoother rotation*, and you can control it from inside the plane with train controls! And the tracks don't need any powered rails or anything so it's easier to make, too *though you can also do this with minecarts; look through the ponders til you find one on 'carriage contraptions'

Yo this was my suggestion for the next «Life» series , thank you all for listening , even the name was my suggestion , idk if you took it all from me , since many may have had similar ideas , but thank you for doing it anyway , i like y'all , have fun on this new series My comment was the following : «Ideas : New Life (With an origin plugin or mod , everytime a player respawns , they must change origin and group up with those with similar origins) Our Life (At the end of each session , players randomly swaps bodies with another , getting their inventory , life numbrr and house , if the one with your body , dies and reach 0 life , you die and they return to their original body , swapped players also becomes allies for the session and must protect each other's life even if one of them is the boogeyman)» It may not exactly follow the same rules but the idea as well as the name are similar so i'd assume it comes from the suggestion I can't recall on who's channel i posted it however (i just copied this comment as i put it on a note and kept around) I remember the person claimed they'd have hard time thinking of new ideas without mixing ideas , like double life + another , but they'd avoid doing double life cause rhe plugin or mod i can't remember exactly , was a bit of a mess and they wouldn't want to steal idea from us , but i think its nice to see it if you all have fun with it If anyone remembers who that guy is , i'd like to know to thank him to have considered the idea And again , have fun 👍

To get drom the ground to the plane easily, you can probably make a block near the driving seat of the plane an elevator block and place one on the ground. Most modpacks usually have elevators in them. Also, call your plane "Angry Skies" for a callback to season 6.
