I Like amber for sand, snow and dust.. White mainly for trails. Just my opinion.

To get the LP4 amber running light to aluminate did you have to use another power source besides switch 3?

Yes, I hooked up that lead to the halo or Daytime Running Lights.

Does your Diode Dynamics SS3 have gaps around the bezel of the bumper or is it a flush fit? I just installed mine and it has gaps.

they are not a perfect fit but pretty close... I think you almost want a gap to be able to adjust it as I found that I had a couple of times to keep them from blinding oncoming drivers.

Why does nobody doing lighting and switch panel installs talks about amp draw of the lamps etc? LP4 are max of about 8A each light, 6.5 for forward projecting, 1A for IPT, and 0.35A for backlight.

Just a heads up, those aren't factory Jeep LED fog lights you replaced. Those are some cheap LEDs from Amazon/eBay. The new SS3's looks good!

They are actually the brackets that came with the Baja Designs Lights.

I got the kit from Baja Designs.. it's basically an inverted triangular nut so that you can't put a wrench on it. www.bajadesigns.com/products/3-8-Tamperproof-Security-Hardware-Kit.asp

Good video!! My only thing is the foglights shouldn’t be as tall as the headlights, they look like they need to be lowered and maybe touch the lp4s up a bit to get the distance down! Again great video love the drone footage

Happy with the LP4s? Any regret not getting LP6s? Can’t decide… also, I have the same knockoff bumper, works great. Do the hooks get in the way of the lights?

The hooks don't get in the way.. and these put out quite a bit of light. I was worried the LP6's would get in the way though. But I think they would work but no regrets yet.

Yes, but not anymore. I put a RhinoRack and an iKamper on it and it won't fit now mainly because of the iKamper. I do have a JK with a 3.5" lift and Rhino Rack and it barely fits.

I really do like them, they pattern and the amber it projects is really nice.. makes driving through dust and snow really nice on and off-road.

I attached it to the drivers side headlight harness, brown/blue wire which is the halo DRL light.

Yes, they are backlit and come on with the other lights.
