My favorite feature on this winne has nothing to do with the exterior or interior...For me it's the upgraded suspension, wheels, axle and ground clearance. This can go where no ordinary trailer, 5th wheel, RV can go. A lot of the roads I drive back into in the Snowy Mountains aren't accessible with normal tow behinds but with this little booger i can get all the amenities of an RV in the most remote places in the wilderness. I'll be keeping an eye on this agile little winne.

My favorite is the fold out couch-to-bed feature. It is so simple with no buttons. Overall, the interior design needs work because it still feels cramped, especially the bathroom and kitchen. IMHO, the best overall features are: 1) Off road suspension tires 2) fold out bed 3) porch doors 4) length of trailer. Wish list: 4 season insulation, lighter trailer, bigger & more windows. Thanks for sharing, guys!

@ExpressVanCamper

Nice to see that the manufacturers are building what end users have been building for years to tackle staying off grid and do some off road camping. The bed in the "low" position looks to be almost shoulder high which would kill it for many folks. 58 or so inches is a bit high to climb in and out of bed not counting the memory foam which most users add to make the seating cushions comfy for sleeping. It wasn't mentioned but is the fridge a standard evaporative fridge that eats both 12V and propane to run or the efficient compressor fridge that could run almost endlessly on battery and solar? Love the garage for hiding the mountain or ebikes. Nice unit.
@JimYeats
@JimYeats Жыл бұрын
I think the fridge term you’re looking for is ‘Absorption’ style fridge. Can’t say for certain but it didn’t look like there was any fins in the fridge for the heat exchange. I would hope in an RV actually geared for boondocking that they put in a compressor fridge.

I’m looking for two fold and I think this would be it. Adventures, but also emergency living. The last 4 years we’ve been evacuated for wild fires, or deep ice freeze (8”+) and though yes moving is an option, it’s the entire state that sees it annually now. Anyway I think this would foot the bill to load up and evacuate and have home comforts, as well as all outdoor fun!

Neat trailer. I personally would prefer a full queen bed that folds up to side rather than the lift and couches below but that’s me. I’m always hopeful a rig like this will be priced in some form of sanity but the evolution of small set ups with big cool factor tells me it won’t be. Interesting to see when they finalize it.

Im putting together a K9 search and rescue team and looking for a rig to work 1-3 weeks at a time, in a search area looking for a cadaver, human remains detection. I like the outside tie downs and rough terrain aspect for going into disaster areas with gear and dogs. Has this type of rug been used for this purpose to your knowledge? The all season geating and cooling is great for summer and winter searches. For me i think i would leave out the drop down bed altogether for mor head room and storage. Dog food, search gear etc

This just misses the weight limits to tow with my Jeep (3500 max). Not sure what the dry weight is, but probably still over that when you add gear in. The drop down bed would be something I'd probably remove. Looks like the loss of headroom would be more of a pain when you could just fold the couches together. I do like the cassette toilet/wet bath for this kind of trailer. I know you said there's no pricing on it yet since it's not really in production. So I'd imagine its north of $35k MSRP. Just a guess. Not a bad idea though. Good review.

I will get one if Winnebago makes another model with a wood burning stove as an option. Lithium batteries are superb despite it can't keep up in a -50 F weather. I'm in Colorado and I would take it to any ski towns here. I would like to see one with a more reliable heat system. I have their 2018 model Revel and the furnace system is a pain to get to if it breaks down in the dead of winter.

I like it, would use it for deer hunting on public land two tracks. Could easily fit my four wheeler in it. Only issue I forsee is that bed you can push up to the ceiling. It will need to be in the up position to put my four wheeler in there and there is zero chance those shocks and how they are attached to the walls will last long, maybe one or two trips. There needs to be a way to lock that bed into position and where all the weight is taken off those shocks and their attachment points.

This camper is not meant for families. I've been to many many campgrounds from Northern NH to Yellowstone and I've seen ONE HIKE camper. A family living in there with a cassette toilet? Will you take turns emptying that thing out, carry it to the dump station? No cooktop inside by the sink? Oh yes, the outdoor cooktop. That's a cop out from Winnebago. Me, being the mom, will be relegated to standing outside in all-weather grilling burgers or whatever, setting up the picnic table (put your jackets on). Nope. I'm out.

4:06 You stated the wrong unit of measure for the battery. You meant to state its charge storage capacity but instead stated an incorrect value for its power output. The battery certainly can output more than the stated 320 Watts, especially given the stated 3000 Watt inverter. What would be useful is a correction which states its charge capacity. Is it an impressive 320 Amp-Hour (at 12 Volts) ?

Purchased a 2023 RAM Rebel. Ive been ovelranding with my 2010 Jeep Wrangler since 2010, so needed ro upgrade becausw thr Jeep is hesvily modified for offroad and road manners are not conducive for long distance. Looking for a trailer just like this. Something to set up base camp with and also bring an electric or regular dirt bike. Need it somewhat offroad capable. Not going to hlbe going where i can go with my Jeep, but I want to reach places regular vehicles/campers cant go.

Length and weight? I read at the website its 6.5 ft frame but does that include the tongue or is it just the box?
