First of all, I have to commend you on the quality and usefulness of your gear review videos. Great sound quality, detailed descriptions, and the best feature of all: utilizing chapter selection so we can skip back and forth to hear various tones you're using from different pedals. Plus what is also greatly appreciated is the fact that you aren't just noodling for the whole review but are also playing very musical riffs licks and song parts, which I find is more useful at showcasing what the guitar can do tone wise. Keep up the great work!

This guitar makes me start to think about which is better. This or the Am Series II Jazzmaster...If I could afford any of these instruments... I really liked the Dancing Shoes and the Dancefloor parts. You nailed those tones well, congrats Harry. 🏆

Imo, this Jazzmaster would be basically the perfect guitar if they had just instead placed the 5 way switch diagonally where the knobs are, moved the volume to the lower bout like a Gretsch, and did a toggle switch tone control on the upper bout (also like a Gretsch). As it is, the blade switch mounted horizontally way out of the way is totally un-ergonomic.

Nah it's better how it is. I've had a fender stray for 16 years now, and I _STILL_ sometimes accidentally bump the pickup selector and put it on the wrong pickup. The Gibson les Paul position, or the position on this jazzmaster, is a lot better, because you never accidentally bump it with your hands. If you watch someone like SRV play, you'll see that even _HE_ would accidentally bumped the pickup selector with his hand a lot, and would need to quickly move it back to the neck pickup when it happened. It's just not something you can eventually get used to.

I put a pair of Amber P90s in my red strat (handmade by Wolfgang Damm), and also I changed the pots to VIPots (550k). Sounds and plays fantastic.
