New Lion's mane Project - growing on lime pasteurised substrate in a bucket

New Lion's mane project - trying to use lime pasteurised substrate and growing in a bucket.
The lime bath I used had a reading of just under 12ph.
Substrate is ash shavings
Strain used: Lion's Mane commercial
Main objective is to see if the spawn will run, if it doesn't I will do another bucket with a PH of just over 10.
If the spawn is running, I will try to fruit it.
As energy is skyrocketing and plastic waste out of control we need to experiment on trying to lower energy cost and plastic usage.
Will keep you updated on progress or no progress.

@argyrodendron64 lime is there to raise the ph to just over 12, this will pasteurise your substrate. Oyster mushrooms can handle that ph with no issues.

Would've been great to state your initial amount of straw, H20 (hot/cold), lime and soak time. How did you check the pH, paper or meter? 😊
