Thanks for swatching the new colours together with the last launch. I was really curious to see Emily together with Angelica and they are really quite different! I have Zora (bought it partly due to pragmatic considerations) and really enjoyed it. The sparkles are really pretty and not too over the top so I can wear it to office.

And I did love it but I was afraid that it might be a bit similar to Violette_FR's Yeux Paint in Scarabée d'Or which I have and am always afraid to use 😅, seeing images of both makes me feel like Daphne might be a more wearable version of this. Great to hear your thoughts on the new colours! They look lovely on you, especially Daphne and Zora. I bought Anais, after trying Anais, Emily and Zora at the pop up. Emily is really pretty and wearable, but I feel like it's a fairly standard colour that I already have. Zora is too dark for me for every day. Anais is the winner for me. I'd say it's a taupe colour, with sage green glints, but it really depends so much on the light. Such a subtle and nuanced colour, I love it. It looks great on my fair skin and blue/grey/green eyes, especially worn as a soft liner during the day. I do find that it can shift around if you touch it, even hours after application. And I usually end up with little sparkles sprinkled around my face by the end of the day. I also finally got Spirited Away lipstick. I didn't get any of the new colours; the Insanely Saturated formula isn't for me, and I just didn't find any of the new Luxuriously Lucents compelling enough this time around. I'm thrilled that the pop up is sticking around though, in case I change my mind!

See! Great description! I completely agree with the way you described Anais. Try wear Zora as an eyeliner or soft Smokey. You have gorgeous coloured eyes, and it’ll really make them POP! 😍 I think the key is very thin layers, and then it doesn’t budge. I like my matte finishes, that’s why I love Luxuriously Lucent but I know it’s not very everyone. It’s also harder to wear as a day colour unless worn smudged out or as a stain. Anyway, I think we are due a catch up soon 😉 xxx

Hi Deb ❤️ I feel like you were talking directly to me…I think I am too old to wear eyeshadows that are too glittery or shimmery. These are gorgeous on you! My fav is Emily on you. I found the first few did look very similar but I think it is because your camera set up is slightly farther away. I love that you film in natural light. oxox

Rubbish! You’re not too old or old at all! You’re beautiful and in many ways, more youthful than I am! I think they’re better for people who already wear eyeshadow, rather than those who wear nothing on their eyelids usually. I try my best with the natural light but the bloody U.K. weather is so unpredictable 😂 Hope you’re well, and speak very soon! Xxx

I am 73 and I have five of these shadows. I have heavy upper lid bags at the moment and each colour I have used so far has been fantastic on my eyes. I’ve seen reviews from older ladies who also look fabulous in them. I say, if you like something go for it! That’s my mantra at the moment. I have heavy eye bags, so what. I’m me

If you find the lurex is drying up etc add a few drops of saline fluid it will make the lurex fine again. To be honest it can be used for mascaras that are drying up too.

What general shades of lipsticks would pair well with Anais and Daphne do you think?? Would they be similar shades or quite different? Thanks!

Hi! I prefer to pair both these shades with more nudey or peach toned lipsticks. Not only does it pair well, it would ensure the eyeshadows standout the most. Alternatively, you could pair the colours with a red for an evening, old Hollywood glamour type of look. The above is my opinion but I think the colours would pair well with a lot of lipstick shades as they’re also super wearable. I hope that makes sense and helps. Thanks for watching xxx

Thanks for the comparison! I picked up Zora and Anais- I thought Emily looked similar to Anais as well so I don’t feel like I’m missing out as much now. Buttt I do think I’ll need Daphne at some point 😜
