I have hooded eyes and I use an eyeshadow primer first (oily lids too!) and then the liquid lurex only on the mobile lid (the bit beneath the fold) I then use a similar colour matt shadow above the crease and blend. As long as the sparkle stays below the crease I find it doesn’t exaggerate the hood and although you won’t see it when your eye is open, when you’re taking to people, your eyes move around and you blink etc so it’s still visible to others ☺️

Absolutely! A little shimmer helps open up the eye area. They don't crease or settle into lines so they will stay put too xxx

Sorry to say, but Iris has totally different quality from the gorgeous rest (I ordered it but regret it) - it is ok in a way Lisa shows it, but to blend it over the lid like the others simply does not work: it loses spark and most of purple, remaining quite uneven grey with only slight purplish hue... :(

@@annavanmunster7968 I just got my Iris yesterday and applied it today. I didn’t have trouble with it losing the purple, but I wasn’t trying for a sheer wash of color. If that’s what you’re looking for, maybe you should return the eyeshadow? I think Lisa’s customer service is really excellent. But for others out there on the fence about Iris, I want to say that my experience with it was different. I really like it!

@@annavanmunster7968 I’m not positive, but when I’ve seen people making complaints in the comments after Lisa’s videos, she often tells them to reach out to customer care. You may have gotten a faulty one-I didn’t have trouble spreading it out, and if it looked patchy I just added a tiny bit more, and that fixed the problem.

I have been waiting for this color story to launch since the first day I tried liquid lurexes! The one thing I especially love about these shadows is their seamless blend into each other when I wish to use them together. The second thing is that even though they don't budge, they are super easy to remove, I really love that quality. I ordered all of the new series except Maya, as pinks are difficult for me to wear. I bought Anjelica last time and it’s become my favourite one and done shadow. I set my alarm for 1am (Australian time 😃) and grabbed Zora, Emily and Daphne. I did appreciate being able to see the photos on your website the day before, but like some others have said, I would have loved to have time to watch your video so I could be sure of my shade choice. (After watching your video, I still would have purchased the same shades, but felt more confident, less FOMO!!!)
