Here seen is the new livery of Deccan Queen Superfast Express outside the ICF factory. It was a lucky capture! These coaches might reach Pune in next few days :)

About Deccan Queen Express :
The Deccan Queen is a daily Indian passenger train service operated by the Central Railway zone of the Indian Railways connecting the cities of Mumbai and Pune. Introduced on June 1, 1930, the Deccan Queen was India's "first superfast train, first long-distance electric-hauled train, first vestibuled train, the first train to have a ‘women-only’ car, and the first train to feature a dining car".
The service name comes from the Hindi nickname "डेक्कन की रानी" (Queen of the Deccan), a popular nickname for Pune. Deccan Queen is currently the fastest train service linking Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Pune Junction. The train's long history and common use as a commuter train has gained it significant popularity, including annual celebrations of its "birthday" on June 1 at Pune Junction.

Original ICF colour was royal and very beautiful. This one is like another scrap after dirty utkrisht coaches colour. Indian Railways ruined blue ICF , original Shatabdi and Jan Shatabdi and rajdhani express... Lhb is good but they should painted with original colours for which these trains known for

These are LHB coaches right? Very beautiful this train actually deserves a different as it's one of the oldest trains in India. As mumbai pune traveller I am exited to travel in this . Get on the tracks soon.....

Yes The time has changed now everything has its end England Coach Works,ICF British-Indian Intercity Express train of Great Indian Peninsula Railway "Deccan Queen" will complete its 92 years of service in this 1st June 2022 and I hope slowly slowly it will complete its 100 years of passenger services in upcoming years. If things go well it can also complete its 200 years of passenger services. But we are Hoping for the best but with the new modern times everything has to change with new LHB coaches and with its unique designed livery it will change its old livery,royalty but it will be a icon to the new age passengers.
