Computer geeks lack good communication skills...... A llama is an animal and an apple is a fruit..... Funny, I just last week asked the Microsoft Bing A.I. What is the difference between a telephone and an android? Of course the A.I. got the answer WRONG. So, I reworded the question... What is an android and how does it differ from a telephone? And again the A.I. got it WRONG. So then, I asked... Do you know what an android is? And yet again the A.I. got the answer WRONG. "Incorrect", I said, "an android is a humanoid robot" Well, what can you expect from a computer.... There is a saying among computer programmers "Garbage in, garbage out". If the programmer does not know the difference between, "an android" and "Android" or the difference between, a "noun" and a proper "Noun", than how can the programmer teach a computer? I wonder if the A.I. knows the difference between a computer and an apple. What is the difference between "TEACHING" and "PROGRAMMING"? Do you enjoy "THINKING"?

I am in the market for a new computer, but when I ask a geek "how many gigabytes of "VRAM" on the graphics card?" they start talking "brand names". I guess they do not want my customage, (to use an 18th century word).

I like Llama but it's the only model that when you talk with it in other languages it switch to English on it's own, i need to test 3.1 if there is progress

Yes, geopolitics is important to consider. I think Meta are right in thinking open source will speed up AI development and make it safer by democratising it properly.

I like that Meta named their AI - Lama. It's cute. I like Groq. I enjoy Groq's edgy personality. When do we get voice inputs? When can we talk to AI and have it create video games and movies for us?

within next 5 years voice input for free and creating video games and movies may take over a decade.

I dont know how flexible it would be tho. If you looked even a little into game development, I cant even comprehend how typing texts would provide creativity in game development when it comes to AI developing a game from scratch. Of course you can argue that most games today are not that creative anyway. The issue is one may not be able to monetize AI produced games.
