Real though, this is me with my art materials. I have to bring a bunch of materials for an event this coming weekend and so far it has been a 4-day-long ordeal to decide what colors to bring for each material (alcohol markers and two sets of color pencils) plus I still have to figure out how to pack them then set them up on the event itself If the deadline wasn't coming up I would gladly spend two weeks or more just figuring this out, and I feel like this would be me if I had to arrange so many displays on multiple shelves, and I'll probably change something every day afterwards anyway 🤪

The slightly odd imagery of the original's chorus uses a waterlogged cake as a metaphor for a once beautiful, but now collapsed romantic relationship: "MacArthur Park is melting in the dark All the sweet green icing flowing down Someone left the cake out in the rain I don't think that I can take it 'Cause it took so long to bake it And I'll never have that recipe again, oh no" Jacob has definitely heard one, if not both of those. MacArthur Park is also a real place out in California and is (or at least was at one point) infamous for hard drugs.
