Wow. That’s alot to carry in your front pocket everyday. But it’s It’s definitely a nice set and case. I keep the case folded to stand open on my work bench with all my picks. And use the CI smaller black case folded open standing with a wide variety of tension tools. And I keep the slim pickings in the console of my truck incase I ever get the chance to use them in a real life situation. It’s amazing how many tools this compact case holds. Great review.

Looks like a perfect edc kit! Well done. The only thing I wish I could add to something like this easily and compact would be some bump keys, but the hammer takes up a lot of space.

I've used the side of a pocket knife before. Bump hammers are nice, but honestly, anything you can give the key a good "whack" with will work in a pinch.

Nice! I love that case. The arbiter set is my favorite as well.

I just purchased the CI Genesis, Echelon, Arbiter, and Quad comb set... my wallet hurts a bit but after seeing many reviews of CI products they are worth it. I have several kits from Sparrows but the quality isnt quite there anymore from Sparrows except their locks.

Tony, I'm confused. The Covert Instruments web page under Best in Class shows the Arbiter Bypass Kit. The picture and parts description do not list the single pin tubular lock pick. Can't find this pick listed anywhere else on the site.

Hey sorry for any confusion. You are correct the tubular pick tools are not part of the Arbiter set. The Arbiter set is made up of bypass tools and not picking tools. The tubular pick tools are part of the Echelon Pick Set. So the setup in this video contains: THE ECHELON PICK SET ARBITER BYPASS KIT RIV-PICK QUAD COMB SET SSF™ JIGGLERS SSF™ WARDED PICKS I combined them all and used the Echelon’s Garrison case to hold it all.

This is great, thanks for showing this Tony. Raking to a false set and then switching to SPP is classic. How often do you use the pinning tray? Personally a pinning tray is only useful for me with a bunch of related pinning tools like a circlip remover, follower, etc. But maybe I’m missing something and there’s another use for it to justify inclusion in an EDC.
@TonyVirelli7 ай бұрын
I usually only use a pinning tray at locksport meet ups.

That is what I was wondering about the pinning tray

You're 100% right. I over generalized in the video. In my mind I think of it as the 4 main picks like the Genesis when I refer to the Echelon set. I mentally just assume people would know because they don't have the 20 on the handle like the rest, but I should have been more clear. You can see I wasn't fully thinking when I didn't even realize I said 7 pin lock until I was editing the video LOL. Thanks for pointing this out so others can also get the correct info.
