@@CrimeThinkBeatsWe got the best backup big in the league in Drummond, and one of the best and most consistent veteran scorers in Eric Gordon, along 16th overall pick McCain who is actually ready for minutes right away just watch SL, and Ricky Council who proved to be beyond solid as a rookie last year will only be better. But Morey isn’t done we still have to resign KJ Martin and get veterans like Morris and Lowry to fill out the roster. So let’s say they just add Morris and Lowry, then that moves Caleb Martin to the bench as Morris would start at PF, then you would have Martin, Gordon, Drummond, Lowry off the bench along with McCain and Council as NN only likes to go around 9 deep anyway, wink.

@@CrimeThinkBeatshe signed the best back up big in the league. The non Embiid minutes is what used to kill us the most. Based on the new cap rules big 3’s may be back at least until the league adjusts. We will be able to sign vet min guys that typically would have been too expensive in years past and give them an opportunity to play significant minutes on a large market contender. The rest of the roster will fill out.

Super excited to watch this team. Embiid has always been surrounded by stars with either massive flaws (ben refusing to shoot, harden struggling to get to the rim and being a poor defensive pairing with maxey), role players who are decent but extremely limited (jj on defense, danny green/robert covington/etc only being able to shoot 3's and nothing else, etc). This is the first lineup where everybody surrounding embiid has length and athleticism and can do everything on the court in a pinch. It should create the ability for some different looks on both ends of the court and hopefully lessen the burden pretty significantly on joel, and in the regular season if jo needs to take a rest day or something plugging in drummond in that lineup gives you a great chance to compete. Im ready to get hurt again lol
